I also received a call from this S.O.B Robert Woods on 3/5/14 at 1:20 p.m. Saying that I'm being sued by Midland Financial for $489.00, because I didn't pay a loan back that I got from Money Mutual, back in 2012. Never in my life had I applied for a loan with this so-called money mutual, lol, I don't need money that bad and if I did it sure wouldn't be through no payday loan company. This piece of crap Robert Woods told me that if I did not call him back in two days that my wages from my job will be garnished. I called this son of a gun back and told him I never got any loan. I asked him what was the name of the original creditor, he started giving me a list of different companies, then I knew right then that something was wrong with this phone call, a SCAM, he then asked me how was I going to pay this loan with him, I told him I'm not paying anything that I don't know about. Then he said, ok I'm going to send you the papers. He is definitely going to be reported because he needs to be put under the jail house, I thought I was the only one that received a scam call from this stupid no good for nothing Indian, until my daughter googled this info, I was SHOCKED when I saw all these people that were scammed by this same idiot. He won't get any of my hard earned money.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ! I Received a call on 02/28/14 from Robert Woods calling on behalf of Calvin and Travis Law Firm. He called from the following number (561) 235-7159. I listened to his voicemail and he stated that he was going to sue me and submit documents to my payroll department for the garnishments of my wages if I did not call him back within two business days. I went from 0-10 so quick because I have never had this type of thing happen before. I called the number back in my call log and the number stated that it was not a working number. the number that he left in the voicemail was (561) 235-7900. I got his personel voicemail and left him a 2 messages and did not hear back from him until 03/04/14.

On 03/04/14 he called me from a private number and left another message that was not as intimidating. He stated that he was calling in reference to my account and that I needed to call him asap. I called him back and when I asked to speak to Robert Woods he knew my name right off as if he had a caller id on me. scary!  

He did not ask for any type of identifying information just told me that he was calling on behalf of a lender that went by 25 different companies. He rattled off the names very fast. He said that I took out a loan from Midland Finacial in Dec. for $300.00. He stated that if I wanted to settle this matter the fee would be $489.00. I told him that I did not have any outstanding accounts and that this was the first that I had heard of it. He stated that he was a third party company and the Midland FInacial had sold my account to Calvin and Travis Law Firm in order to collect the debt. He stated that they had attempted to collect the debt from my checking account becuase of insuffiicient funds and could not as well as were not able to contact me to collect the debt. I asked him for the contact information of Midland Finacial and he stated that he was not able to give out that info. The first thing that I did was googled Midland Finacial. There was no contact info that I could see unless you fill out an application.

I ran across this post and I am SO GLAD to see your post. Please do not pay this man.  

This same company called me today 3/3/14,with the same scam. They have a new number (561)235-7900. Be aware of these people.

The Guy ROBERT WOODS now has the Penage Hotel! Which he has scamed his workers out of money! Also he plans on getting girls all under the age of 18 years of age to work as call girls for the hotel.He has also came onto a few of the girls and one that I know about that he has touched sexual. She is 16 years old.

Robert wood Called us to about a loan from july 2010.   For $300...  checked bank statements for loan in July 2010, no loan , checked the whole year. Called him back, told him and said we were going to report him he said go ahead...

I have rec'd a call from this number + more of these numbers than you can believe.  They all have middle eastern accents, the same line most of the time - it sounds like they are all scripted.  I wish someone could get them to stop making these calls.  I can only imagine how many people they have scared into paying them money they don't even owe.

a man with a middle eastern accent called saying i owed $350 to a payday loan compan and needed to pay $580 including late fees. i never used this company but since he knew the last four of my SSN i thought it was legitimate.i am so glad i looked this up before giving him any money. when i asked him for the company name, he told me to "google it"....THIS IS A SCAM!!!

i GOT A MESSAGE FROM ROBERT WOOD stating he  worked for browne&trevino law firm. He scammed my wife of $50 stating we owed a bill and was sending the police to the house and arrest her. Im dealing with him the past few days and still didn't get a refund back. He is a scam and don't pay him anything. He is using magic jack for the phone number

Threatened my life personally and told me I better be on the lookout. Tried to get local information and written verification of this supposed debt. They refused.

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM MR. ROBERT WOOD TODAY FROM 321-481-7996, HE THREATEN ME WITH A LEGAL LAWSUIT STATING I OWE $1300.00 INCLUDING LEGAL FEES. THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE CAUGHT.

I received a phone call from this company telling me if I didn't pay, they would contact my job and have my wages garnished.  I didn't get a name, but he said he was calling from Brown and Trevino law firm in Florida.  I was told that I owed a company by the name of Midland some money for an outstanding loan.

I am now receiving the same phone calls but BEWARE they have changed their phone number to 312-418-7996! Spoke to the Atto. Generals office here in Pa it is a scam! do not pay them anymoney!

I've been getting threatening calls from many people since Feb. Someone impersonated a policeman, a detective, a lawyer and a court official.  I've filed a report with my local police but they can't do anything because they've never gotten any money from me even though they had ALL my personal and banking information.  The people calling are of Indian decent.  I have friends from India who listened to the calls and can tell what part of India the person is from by their accent.  I just got a call from Robert Wood from 416-971-2222, my new caller id says it came from Toronto, Ontario Canada and he told me to call back at 321-482-5007.  So where the heck is he? I've also had the same script left on my cell by 3 different people. They say the exact same thing!  Now I just tell them to call my detective and by the time I get half way through his phone number they hang up.  Even though I know it's a scam it's still scary because they don't let up!

Call your local authorities give them the number to subpoena, they will send the number to the phone company that is attatched to the number and the persons responsible will be prosecuted by the state.

I received a message on my answering machine, and when I returned the call they were telling me that I was being sought after for frauding Midland Marketing of $300.00, and if I didn't pay they threatend to put a warrent out for my arrest. When I told this "Robert Wood" I couldn't undestand his accent, he put his partner on with a less-thick accent named "Mark", giving me the same threats and refusing to give me the number of this marketing company to verify these charges.

I got voicemail from mark derino  3214825007 saying that he was on officer and that there was a case against me and that I should take care of this before he puts out an arrest warrant out for me.  At first I was really scared because I was like I am not aware of any of this.  He did not leave any information regarding what the complaint was about and I could hardly understand his accent had to play the message over 3 times to understand it fully.

I had a gentlemen with heavy accent to To call me alleging that he was going to have me arrested and to make sure I had a place to send my kids and lock my house. He said that I was in violation of federal bank fraud for Midlane Financial, a company I have never heard of, I told him I had an attorney and he insisted that I give them the number, after I refused to he began to be irate, cursing me, telling me that I was a fat ghetto b***h and that I could come to his house and work for 10.00 hours and I would like it. He called over and over after I hung up on him stating that I was a b***h that won’t pay my bills and that everything will go on my credit. He has my social and address and I have no clue who this man is. Someone please tell me where to report this man. His name is Robert Wood calling from  321 482 5007.

This guy Robert Wood called my sis threatened her with legal action, its a scam, DONT SEND MONEY!

they called a closee friend of mine today, saying HE would be arrested if I did not pay them $380.  I don't owe anyone that amount of money.   I played dumb and Mr Greeno assured me my friend would not be harassed anymore.   I kept calling him back to get more info from him, and told him I knew it was a scam.  He called me a MF'er and hung up on me.  He hung up on me 3 more times when I called back.  He then called the friend that he previously assured me would not be bothered again, and told HIM that he was going to have a warrant out for him.  Each time I called I said "sue me", but he kept saying he was going to call my friends and family to bug them about what a deadbeat I was.  I just don't know How he got my number, or more importantly, my friend's number.

I asked this company to give me more information if I owe someone but they want give me the information. I'm not going to send any money to anyone that I don't have any paperwork on.  I want them to stop calling if they want give me any information of who they are.

They said a bench warrant would be issued and I should find some place for my kids, get some clothes cause they would be at my door in a few hours. I will pay the debit but who am I paying and where is paperwork.

Yes I got a call from this number 321 482 5007 they called my work wow and said they were officer greeno saying I needed to call cuz there was a bench warrant out if I didn't pay this ammount of 410.00 also called my friends and and said I used there names for computer fraud wow these people are f***ing crazy ............ Beware it's all fraud

I got the same call and this time they said they will take my pay check, and I know for fact that these are fraud people, contact your local police and let them know about this people, they use two numbers 303-990-9342- this number is located in Fort log in colorado this is a military base.  and the next number is 321482-5007, person talking indu. we are people that work everyday check by check, for a person that I will said is a lase one don't like to work and doesn't have nothing to do, pay back is not going to be nice I prey for justice that this people can be cut and put in jail.

A man name Robert Wood said I owe Midland $429 and there is a lawsuit and garnishment pending againist me. He also threaten to arrest me.

This same call happened to me on October 22, 2010.  They said a bench warrant was issued and I should find some place for my kids, get some clothes cause they would be at my door in a few hours. What is really going on???
