Took your advice and email the BBB and I received a response from them this morning by email.

I continue to get calls from this rude individual even though I have asked on several occasions to be removed from their calling list. A valid number is 321-610-7985. When u call back 321-735-6620 which is the number on caller iD it is busy.

Someone from this number calls daily but hangs up as soon as I answer. I have tried to return the call, but it does not go through. Since they just call and hang up, I am unable to ask them to put me on their "Do Not Call" list. Very frustrating!

Here is their address, below.  Perhaps being exempt from the DNC list makes them think they have a right to harass people?  Perhaps they also have a regular number that we can all call and complain every time we get a hang-up harassment call from them?

    Be nice and just request that he takes you off their calling list.    I called this number at night and got an answer machine. So, I assume there is either a person there during the day, or at least a voice message box to store all the messages that may come in. It's funny how he slurs the words, "fraternal order" while emphasizing "police", as if he were someone important. I guess that's supposed to intimidate people or something. Of course what else would you expect from people who harass you and think you have no recourse?

Don't answer the phone for these annoying scammers trying to collect money for the Fraternal Order of Police. They keep most of what anyone is stupid enough to give them. SCAMMERS!!!!

Fraternal Order of Police, a privately held company who supposedly raises money for local law enforcement. If you go on their web site you will see they have a few dubious community projects that are not needed but connected to local law enforcement. I consider them a total scam and they have been aggressive fund raisers for years. They are amazingly disrespectful and manipulative. In their conversation they will not take no for answer and act like you are accountable to them. Don't even answer the phone.

Called ID just said Rockledge. Called 3 different times. Finall answered. Yes FOP looking for donations. I advise I already give PBA he still asked for $10. I hung up pit the nbr on my do not call service with Brighthouse.

I gave them a verbal cease and desist last year but they still call....enough people go thru the BBB they will be made to stop- they're exempt from the DNC list.

They are exempt from the DNC list but that does not give them the right to annoy you- ESPECIALLY if you've told them previously to cease and desist calling your number.

just got a call from this number.  Hung up when I answered.  Called back and got a busy signal.  Googling the caller ID show it's something connected with the Fraternal Order of the Police so it's someone looking for money.  Blocked the number so they can't call again

Received an unsolicited call from this number.  Gentleman claimed to be from the sheriff's department and was soliciting donations (for his union?).  I appreciate all that police and sheriff deputies do, but the union funds should all come from their own pockets.

Just started getting calls. Displays as J.W. Dunn Lodge. Just answered and stern voice man asked for me. Sounds like a collection agent.
