This number called me early last year, and they had everything from my name to my debit card number. I asked them how they knew all those things then they hung up. I tried calling them back, but I got the "busy" signal. Checked my account and they stole over $200 from me. I went to the bank and we called the Fraud Department, and it turns out this number belongs to a fraud company. I got my money back and got a new card, but they keep contacting me! They actually just called and asked me if i wanted to pay with some special discount, and if I didn't they were going to have the credit bureaus call me or something like that.. This is freaking B.S.

I got a call from this number on several occasions ...first asking if I was that person then wanting me to verify my date of birth...I refused and told her I did not subscribe to any magazines and did not want any magazines...she said I could not reverse the order but she could give me a $10 discount...I told her once again i did not order them and she had better not deduct any charges or I would see her and whoever she worked for in court...she asked for my date of birth again and I again refused  she said if I gave her the date she would let me talk to a supervisor and I told her they did not need my date of birth for me to talk to a supervisor and if they called me they should know who I was being they were calling me and demanded to speak to the person in charge...she told me I was irate and when I calmed down she would have someone call me back...News for her for harassing me and trying to scam me I will never be calm...I have notified my bank about the attempted fraud...they will report it to the authorities if it hits my account.

We received a call from them, but they won't leave a message then when I answered it hesitates like an automated call and then the lady came on and I screamed STOP CALLING HERE... she said, "Is John there, this is for John" I asked who it was, she said, "Publishers something" so I again told her to stop calling here and she asked, "When will John be available the call is for him..." I said "NEVER" and hung up! So glad I found out they are SCAMMERS!

I received a call saying I purchased a package of magazines under my email address using a visa card.   When I said bull crap that I wanted there name and phone number to call and cancel I was told that that option was only available for the first 13 days after that I could not cancel.  Then she hung up on me.

I received a similar call and I gave too much information because I was receiving a couple a magazines that I have never paid for.  I gave part of my credit card number but then stopped and hung up.  I then called our local BBB and they told me the number was from Melbourne, FL.

I received a call from 321-872-3210 saying that they wanted to reduce the subscription amount for my  magazines.  I told them that I was receiving a couple of magazines that I have not been paying for. She told me that I would be charged for them on the 26th of January and asked if I wanted to reduce the amount; in other words receive a discount. I said that I did not want the magazines and wanted to cancel them and she said that I could not.  I asked how I was paying for them and she said by debit or credit card.  I asked which of my cards and she said she could not tell me by federal law but that it started with a 4.  She said I could repeat it and she would tell me if it was right.  She also said that if it wasn't, we could try it three times.  I gave the first 4 numbers and asked if it was right.  She said yes go on.  I then gave the next 8 numbers and she said that's right so far, give me the last 4 numbers.  I told her no and then hung up the phone.  I think this was a fraudulent phone call, but I am worried about it.

I just received a phone call from this number saying that they wanted to lower my bill for the magazines I was receiving, which is a funny thing becuase I am not receiveing any.  So I asked when did I actually subscribe to the magazines and the lady said January 2011. When I told her that was impossible because I was deployed to Iraq from June 2010-June2011 she said I will note that on your acount and hung up on me.  Just as the same people above I tried to call back the number and had no luck, I also checked my account and there haven't been any unknown drafts from my account.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION< THEY ARE A BIG SCAM

I have gotten several phone calls from this number over the last few months.  Wanting to know if I am enjoying my magazine subscription and thanks for paying on time.  I was told how current my account was and then when i told them I wasn't subscribed to a magazine they couldn't tell which ones i was supposed to be getting or where the billing was coming from.  I checked all my accounts and nothing was drafting.  The next time they called a woman insisted i verify my address, dob etc. and said my account has been on hold for months because they were trying to contact me about lowering my bill.  If I didn't verify all the info I would be charged on the 15th for my subscriptions.  She refused to let me speak to a supervisor until I answered all her questions.  The scam was ridiculous!!!!!  They didn't even tell the same lies.

This company is up to no good, they claim they have recorded your call and you have authorized them to charge some magazine to your credit card, when you haven't even given them your credit card number..they claim they have it on file and then they hang up. Its a scam and they are up to no good. I will be reporting this number to the better business bureau first thing tomorrow morning.

I had a similar experience as A.M. Except for I signed up for a free trial subscription with my VISA card and I cancelled all the subscriptions within 15 or 30 days depending on the terms. The 321-872-3210 said that they had my AMEX card and that they were going to give me a "credit". I am not receiving any magazines. I do not want any magazines. The person on the phone claimed that they talked to me a couple of weeks ago and that I had confirmed my information, which are lies. Every time they have called i have told them that I have cancelled all my subscriptions and there must be a mistake. Everytime I have tried to call them it doesn't go through. The woman on the phone refused to give me a customer service number so I could call to straighten things out. She said she would only give me the number if I confirmed her "credit". She was one of the rudest people I've talked to on the phone. I told her that I didn't like her tone of voice, thank you for calling but I do not want to talk to her anymore, then I said good bye and hung up. She called me 7 times right after I ended the call.

This company has called me several times in regards to magazine subscriptions that I cancelled with the company I actually ordered them from.  Every time I try to tell Sylvia that they are cancelled she tells me that I only had a 13 day window for cancellation and that I am way too late for that and that I am bound by contract for 5 years to paying $59.95 for 3 magazine subscriptions, but that she is authorized to lower my monthly payment, all she needs is to verify my credit card number that starts with a 4.  Hmmmm....  I told her I was not comfortable giving her my cc number over the phone and she got all snotty about how she hadn't asked for my CC number, just that she would give me the first 4 numbers and I would need to verify the rest of it.  I told her I did not have the card with me, so she told me she would call back later, and hung up on me.   Several times when they have called though, there is no one there, or I can hear people talking but then they hang up.  On the times I have called back, there is no ringing or I get a busy signal.  This smacks of FRAUD.

At 11:02 am on 9/15/11 I got a call from 3218723210 asking if I was available (first name only). I said "yes, this is she how can I help you" and I could hear her hanging up the phone right after I confirmed that I was speaking. She did not ask any additional information. My husband suggested that instead of confirming that it is me on the phone, ask "may I ask who is calling" before confirming anything at all, even my first name. He also suggested that I contact my phone company and ensure that I will not be charged for the international call. I thought my husband's suggestions were great and that I should share them, I hope they help!

After many calls where no one spoke when I answered, finally when I picked up someone spoke.  I wanted to find out why these people keep pestering me. There is something very wrong going on here. It started out as something vague about magazines, but the information he gave had nothing to do with me, so I think it's some sort of fishing expedition. He kept pressing me for identifying information (he knew my name, but wanted to "verify" my date of birth, and was annoyed that I wouldn't just answer his questions). When I told him I chose not to give him my date of birth, he hung up while I was in mid-sentence.

SCAMMERS - BEWARE
They called tonight asking for me, and had my first name.  The lady said her name was Marie and she said she was from the company that sends out my magazines.  She said that she talked to someone earlier who said that they were me but sounded "much younger".  She said she did not believe that I was really (my name) and asked for my date of birth.  I asked her just why she needed that and what she was calling about.  She started getting upset and rambled on again about talking to someone with my name earlier and not believing I was who I said I was.  I told her I'm not giving out personal information unless I know who is calling and what they are calling about.  She got flustered and said that it was obvious that it was not me and hung up.

This is an obvious scam, but I hope they don't have more than just my name and phone number.  Thankfully I didn't give them anything they asked for.  When they realize that they can't bully or trick info from you they will hang up.

I believe these people are trying to scam us, not renew magazine subscriptions.

They called me and the lady (Marie) said that she was calling from the company that sends my magazines and that she didn't think I was really (my name).  She claimed that she talked to someone earlier who said they were me and that they sounded much younger than me.  So she asked for my date of birth so that she could verify I was who I said I was.

I kept asking her why she needed this info and what company this was.  She just got more and more upset when I would refuse to give her the info she wanted.  She finally said that it was obvious that I was not who I say I am and hung up.

She was totally unprofessional and was trying a few different strategies to get info from me.  When the whole "somebody is using your name" trick didn't work, she tried to bully it out.  Thankfully they got nothing from me.  I hope they don't have anything other than my first name and phone number though.
