I understand your frustration but keep in mind that the caller is probably an average person who took the job trying to pay their bills and provide for their family. It beats somebody gaming the public unemployment funds.

Got call from this number.  Shows anonymous on caller ID.  No message.  I am on National Do Not Call list.

Did not answer. They left no message.  Has called 3 times.  Always calls between 3 and 4 PM

Why does they keep call me. I tell them no calls allowed and they hanged up on me.

You can't be serious. *57 might generate a trace, bit it doesn't report it to anyone, much less the FBI. You would have to jump thru hoops, getting your phone company to send the trace to your local police, WHO WOULD IGNORE IT because they have better things to do. Give up. Get a phone with call block. No one takes these calls seriously except you and I only check the numbers online to make sure they really are scammers.

There doesn't seem to be a foolproof way of stopping these calls so I guess all we can do is not pick up when we see an unfamiliar number.

I use phone.com as my telephone provider instead of ATT. This low cost service has call blocking as well as lots of other features with good quality sound. I don't have any connection with the phone.com firm but it saves tons of repeat calls from telemarketers. As an example in last two weeks 5 calls have been blocked YEAH!

Caller ID shows Florida origin. No message left and busy signal upon calling number anonymously. I tend to agree with "Death To Twelemarketer's" Sept 9, 2013 input that it originated about a Disney vacation. Many companies have no respect for the DNC Registry.

I never answer calls I do not know, however, this area code is Florida, my 93 yr. old Uncle lives in Florida at an Assisted Living Home I was afraid that something may have happened, I live in PA.....as soon as I said hello there was some kind of recording, a happy voice saying something about vacation...I hung up immediately.....this really upsets me, knowing that they can use an area code like that.....won't make that mistake again. I went against my rule, if it is legit they will leave a message.

I've been getting those "You've won [such-and-such] prize" messages, usually cash in the neighbourhood of $20K, and today I got a hangup from these people. Doubtless affiliated.

If you press anything you are confirming that your number is answered by a person...... Then they sell your number to every Abdul, Dick or Habib around and then you get many more calls.....DON'T DO IT! JUST HANG UP!!!

Of course it's worthless. It's managed by the government!

I keep getting calls from this number but no one speaks, after about a minute it disconnects.

I got a call from this number with a message that I'd been selected for a free vacation.  When I said hello after following the prompt the person hung up.  Very, very annoying.

I bought air horns at the dollar store and if I get anyone on the phone, I blast them.
