Unprofessional. Harrassing phone calls. Rude and disrespectful.

I traced them down from you post at this number (323)850-6726 and got a live person. It did sound like a telemarketing place with the background noise. I asked to have my number removed and she took down the information. Hope it works 11-26-11

happened 3 times in 2 days- getting annoying.  I cld back and get messsage

Received  a call from  323.206.4140.  The guy asked for the Mister of the house  when I indicated there wasn't one he ask for the Mrs.  I identified myself ( i could tell this was a computer generated call as there was a pause before there was a live voice) his voice became muffled and i said i could not hear him.  I could hear MANY voices in the background-like a call center. At least it was not foreign accents. The guy became frustrated as he said he needed to adjust his headset. Then the phone hung up.  I was concerned with all the crank calls now and identity theft and etc.  I am relieved to Learn this number is per chance Home Design.    My caller ID indicated Los Angeles

They've called us several times in one evening (Jan 20, 2011). We're on the no call list, so I bet the other person is correct-- they call numbers hoping someone will call them back.

this number called and did not respond to my answer.  Voices in background, then nothing. Not the first time. Has happened before.

This number has called often.  9/9/2010 it rang, I didn't answer, then I could hear a conversation through my answering machine!  I called Verizon, they said my line must be "crossed" with another line (???) and that the number calling me was a different telephone company!  What's going on?

This same number also calls me all the time and doesn't leave a message!!! Did you ever find out who it was?

these idiots are telemarketers for "Home Design Center" whatever that is and the numbers are usually spoofed.  when you call back, you'll get a message....bastards

Yep just got 3 calls from those numbers today in under 45 mins.  I called the number listed above by
Robert...just on a whim...and a lady answered who confirmed it was the Home design center...when I complained about the calls, she asked for my number...and bingo I was in their database.  However she said there was no "disposition on the account"....uh ya ok thats why I just happen to have 3 calls today and Im in your database...but of course it wasnt from this company.  She did mention that "Service Magic" was listed as handling this account....so I have no idea if that helps anyone out or not.

They call all the time! Totally intrusive. Can't anything be done?

We get a call from this number every day and they hang up after 3 rings.

Called me on 2/12. Rang 3x before disconnecting. No message was left. I'm not even picking up my phone anymore unless I know the caller. I get several calls like this every day. A total waste of their and my time. People, keep pounding the FCC to stop these practices.

323 AREA CODE IS LOCAL TO US, SO I ANSWERED.
I LET THE CALLER GO ON AND ON (HE WAS TRYING TO SELL HOME IMPROVEMENTS - EVEN TOLD ME HE THAT THERE WAS A PERSON IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD THAT COULD STOP BY IN A FEW MINUTES) AND THEN I INTERRUPTED HIM AND TOLD HIM THAT I WAS ON THE "DO NOT CALL" LIST.  THE CALLER CONTINUED READING FROM HIS SCRIPT AND THEN AGAIN I INTERRUPED HIM AND AGAIN I TOLD HIM I WAS ON THE "DO NOT CALL" LIST.
HIS ANSWER TO ME WAS THAT HE WOULD "TELL THE OWNER - I'M SURE HE WOULD CARE."
I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK - THE MESSAGE SAID THAT "YOUR PARTY IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE TO TAKE YOUR CALL."
A SPOOFED PHONE NUMBER.

Countrywide Home Loans is involved in a class action lawsuit because one of their upper mangement financial guys sold their customer information - phone numbers, home addresses, etc. That's why you're on these peoples lists:  Home improvement, Window Installation, Gov't. Loans ("Due to President Obama's recent signing of ..."), carpet intalls, cleaning, air conditioning, construction, duct cleaning, chimney sweepers, house cleaning, lawn maintenance, etc. I live in a condo and a window installer wanted me to replace my windows - you just can't do that in a Condo - when I said no, they got very rude.

Once I received the court paperwork I realized that this was the reason I've been inundated with these phonecalls. They got your number illegally. Doesn't matter if you're on the "Do Not Call" list, because they don't check it, they just read the numbers they purchased. Some callers are from 800 numbers and some are local. I got a call from them and when I asked to speak to a supervisor they hung up the phone on me.  I tracked this company down.  Here is their web site http://www.foundationtoroof.com and their phone number is 800.525.3241.  I got a hold of a live person who claims the list they purchased had numbers that are on the do not call list.  I told her that is not my problem.  They have been receiving allot of complaints and know they can get into trouble if they do not fix this.  Call and complain.

received a call from "the foundation" asking for my husband.  The caller was very evasive about it but said my husband signed up and wanted a construction estimate.  I told him my husband was a contractor and finally hung up after he tried everything to get to speak to him anyhow.

Just as the above folks I thought I recognized the number as well, since it's in a neighboring area code. Answered and heard someone breathing, I think he didn't hear me answer. I just sat and listened for a minute to the background noise which sounded like some kind of call center.  He never said anything, I think he thought he got an answering machine or something. Anyway I hung up. It's probably a company that was hired by some remodeling company to make outbound calls to find leads.
Oddly enough my fiancee is a remodeler himself, ha ha!  Who recently got a full time job because of the economy. So it's not surprising these people are resorting to paying lead generation companies to find leads for them, what I don't understand is how they make any money because everyone I know absolutely hates telemarketers and would never buy anything or make an appointment with one of them. Just crazy they stay in business! They must be preying on the elderly.

I keep getting calls so I called them. I always get an answering machine. First day I left a message not to call my number. Today I just set the phone down and let it record the news. I'll keep doing this until they stop.
