Old Ma Bell phone service either doesn't have selective call blocking or it's so cumbersome to use or has so many limitations that it's really useless.  

Change your land-line phone to a VOIP line - uses the Internet instead of old Ma Bell.  There are MANY VOIP providers out there - be sure to find out if they have SELECTIVE CALL BLOCKING.  Vonage STILL doesn't have it the last time I looked, but phone.com does.  Google voip reviews.

Then set up your VOIP account so it only rings through to your phone for phone numbers you know - everyone else goes to voice mail.  Of the few who bother to leave a voice mail you can choose to block future calls all together so they can't even leave voice mail again.

6/10 18:30 Called again, 2nd time in one day, this time a woman asking for my husband.  Another fool who sits thru voicemail message and then asks for a person, from a machine.

Phone rings. I answer, no one there, then a recorded voice says "good-bye".
I called back.  A rabbi answers.  He knows about these fake calls.  He claims the phone company can do nothing.  Really, we can talk to the moon and we cannot find out one fake phone call?

6/03 19:05 Once again, for the upteenth time, these fools have called, but the idiot this time was someone named "Tanya" calling from KNS Eco Friendly (whatever that may be) and asking my voice mail how I am.
What is the matter with these idiots?  ID reads Levin Chana.  I suppose the one good thing about them is that they do identify themselves so you can let them ring thru and record themselves and you don't have to do more than not answer the phone!

"Chana Levin" keeps calling. Early morning, late evening, weekends, weekdays. Been going on for months. Four rings, hangs up. No message. I guess it's auto-dialed.

I wonder if the fact they are using the Chabad Center's number makes this a HATE crime?  Would the JDL like to investigate?

The number is being spoofed.  I just had email contact with the rabbi of the Chabad Center and the are getting hundreds of calls back.  This organization is another victim of spoofing using a real number leaving the true owner of the number to deal with the blowback.  This type of spoofing should be a criminal offense and tells all of us that who ever is using this number as a cover is a BAD GUY and most likely a CRIMINAL.  If the spoofer using this number wants to refute my allegation, please feel free.  I'd love to hear it.

1200 number blocking capacity..up to 10 area codes can be blocked...also you can block criminals with no phone numbers on their caller ID.
blockers with 50 or 60 number capacity..you will run out of numbers in a couple of months.
FCC is in bed with these criminals:
1-do not answer the calls that you do not recognize.
2-search on awesome websites such as this one,for the phone number and once you see the numbers here,
3-stop wasting your time with useless reports and complaints and by a good blocker.

5/9 3:35 No ID but fool stayed on line after voice mail message and introduced at Gloria from K & S Ecofriendly (who or whatever that is), said Hello a couple of times and realized, finally, no one there.  I too have had calls from this number that read Levin Chanda, but this time ID only showed phone #.

The rudest SOB just called!  He was so rude, asked him for his contractors license, and low and behold he said MAM DO YOU WANT WORK DONE.  Wish the contractors board would get off their duffs and do something about these idiots!

They won't give up! Same person just called at 9:45 AM, but did not leave a message on answering machine, 4/29/13.

"Chanda Levin" has called as late as 9:30 PM, and as early as 8:10 AM on 4/26/13 - - not exactly office hours.
