i got it 2 on 8/02/09 and a nother on 8/03 saying it was ment 4 someone else do u know any thing else about this

I too just got the weak-end message too, the same as Sara said above.  Someone who has a phone number very close to mine received the same text simultaneously  (We were standing next to one another when it happened).  That is some pretty fast texting, err... spamming.  I hope this person has an unlimited texting plan.

i hate dry food

Yeah i just got that same message about the food. The owner spaming the apology is obviously part of the deal. The story doesnt make sense because he wouldnt send messages like that to find his friends to 900 diff numbers. I dont understand the objective of this robo scam though... Try to catch people who dont have unlimited texting for charges? Find out who replies to sell info? I dont get it.

I find it funny they can spell "restaurant" right but not "recommended".

I just received a message about the food being dry.

I recieved a text and thought it was a funny myself.  I didn't mind, but if this person starts asking me for money, social security numbers or bank info, then we got we got a problem.  Other than that, I don't mind, just curious who it is.

I just got this message, "Finally we're back to another week's end...  Instead of a "weak-end" for the previous days, make it a "strong beginning" to the days ahead... Just a though...  Ttyl."

I wonder if this is b/c of Facebook. I recently took my cell number down from view of certain people

I got a text message from this number saying: "There is two of them left..I got one..Did you want me to buy the other one and you can pay me back later?"  I live in Michigan too.  weird.

I don't know how anybody could screw up a phone number so much. I just ignored it. I should have told him to go ahead and buy it for me. haha

I received a text from this number today and so did my fiance at the exact same time. They were asking if we were going downtown  for the fireworks. I responded asking who it was. No response.

Received text message from this number at 9:20 p.m.

"The food is so dry... You should cover the bill since you reccommended this restaurant! Haha... What are you doing!?"

I just received the same text about the restaurant's food being dry at 3:52pm.

I responded back "Who is this?"  think that it might be someone I know who wasn't in my list of contact.   They didn't respond.

These messages are really strange.

I am the owner of this number and inconvenience or interruption was not my intention.

I had my contacts wiped clean and with many people I'm trying to reach, my numbers aren't  always accurate.

I am not a company or some machine that brought your number.. So.. if I haven't texted you since, you most likley won't hear from me again.. Especially if you told me I had the wrong number..

And for the guy who I added 15 cents to your phone bill.. I apologize.

You obviously have my number for any questions...

Amanda - You got an apology?  I'm also in Michigan, didn't reply, we'll see if I get another text from the same number again.  This is about the third or fourth time I've gotten chatty random texts from the unknown number.  Always ignored it, never rec'd an apology.

I received the same exact message and thought it was someone I know out in California.  But then I found this site. How weird.  Mine was received @ 10:46pm May 2nd and then an apology @ 1:12am (our time in Michigan)

I just recieved the same message. I replied back. I hope I don't get anymore crazy texts. I too thought it was a friend who's number I had lost. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Texted: "I'm ready for this crazy movie to get done--everyone said its good but already a half hour into it, its draggin out @ boring me! LOL. What R you doing?"

I had been waiting to hear from people in the LA area so I thought maybe it was them accidentally texting me, so I replied to see who it was but no response... hopefully nothing weird happens now!..

Any idea why they would send these in the first place? Besides being annoying, are they trolling for legit numbers like email spam - if you reply then you've told them that your email address is legit and they send more?

Interested to know if you stop getting messages or start getting more, or if automated calls start or something, since you replied. Otherwise, I don't get it.  Unless next is the 'is your refrigerator running?' text.  ;)

Received text message from this number at 12:43 p.m.

Responded at 12:45 a.m. with:
"I believe you have the wrong number. Sorry. Have a good day."

No response was received.

Received the same message from the same number (with a 'haha' at the end). Glad you posted; thought maybe I lost someone's number.

I've had at least one text a week from email addresses or unknown numbers with weird messages lately. Last week it was 'you have a message from Ava at ava.caseread.com' from email at mmountain.com.  

No idea where they're getting my number; ignoring them all.

Recieved a text that read " How's your Thursdsy coming along?  Are you pushing it or is it pushing you?

I'm glad I paid $.15 for that.  I ignored it, I have no idea who's number that is
