I received a call from this number saying that they are coming from the IRS. They stated that they will deport me and throw me in jail. For $897.

Recieved a call from rhis number ftom some foreigner claiming to be an attorney's office telling me my ssn was involved in a fraud and I'd better get an attorney.  Whem asked for the ssm he supposedly had on file, he got very angry telling me I knew my ssn and wanted me to give him my full ssn. When I challenged him and told him if he had my info I shouldn't have to repeat it, he became extremely angry, yelling, threatening me with being arrested and I toldhim to go f@#! himself and that I was gonna call the FTC, he said "have mercy on my soul and the police will be notified and expect to be arrested tonight". I laughed and told him to learn his American laws before he tries to threaten people im the States and hung up.

I got one of these calls this morning, they left a message, Saying they were calling from "The State's Attorney's office",so I called them back and asked "WHAT STATE'S ATTORNEY"? He told me he needed to check my number first to tell me that info.
I instantly called b***s***, and told him If you are calling from a State's Attorney office", you would not need to verify my phone number to provide that to me. He had a bad accent, and was very rude. I cut him off and told him that to fraudulently represent himself as a Legal Government office is a crime...to which he replied to me "Suck my D*ck".  I started laughing at him...and that just made him more angry. He eventually hung up.

These people are scammers. Give them NO info, and pay them NO money! Any REAL litigation is going to come in the form of a legal letter, not a phone call.

Same thing to me. We can catch osama bin laden but not this low level peice of s***??? He needs to be stopped now

Good afternoon, I received this same call early Saturday morning, June 1, 2013, from phone number 415-952-7351.  This gentlemen stated that he was Senior Attorney Kenneth Webster and I needed to send him $599.00 for a pay day loan that was not paid off or he will turn my information over the the local police department to have me arrested. I am so glad I came up on these reports.  I pray that these cold hearted people get caught!!!

The same ppl called me talking about legal matters and I could be attested. Telling me to call Kenneth Webster.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I got a call on my cell as well as my work. Asking me my attorneys name. Said I have charges filed against me. Said attorney was kenneth wepster 415-952-7351 from California.  Tried to call number back and does nothing.

i just received this call from a "Jr associate" he said his "senior associate" needed to speak with me regarding my pending law suit...so i looked up the Kenneth Webster attorney and found this site...i always check anything that doesn't seem right on the internet first b/c you never know..thank everyone for allowing me to know if this is a scam...B4 i responded...

Did they ever catch anyone? I know there is more than one person in on the whole operation. I got scammed yesterday, May 23rd, 2013 and I made a report as well.  I hope no one else falls for this crap!!!!

I got a call from a tony davis saying I had 3 criminal charges and there will be a warrant put for my arrest if I don't call them back and that he said something about an attorney he was hard to understand

Do not answer this call anymore and I suggest you get a lock on all your credit stuff. A man named William Webster just called my house saying police officers would come pick me up at my work and I would go to jail for fraud it is a scam do not give them any money that they request please hope this helps

they called me too this morning but the phone number was 1-916-243-5985 and he said that he was from the state's attorney's office and I had 3 charges against me in the state of California and when I asked him about them he had no info and said that I had to call this number and speak with the attorney Logan Fernandis and spelled it just like that and that he would inform me of what the charges were and what I could do about it well me being in the fire dept and working closely with the police and sheriffs in my area. I knew this didn't smell right so instead of calling him back I called the sheriffs dept in the area where the cell phone number came from which was Sacramento, CA and the cell number traced back to Rio Linda, CA which is in Sacramento county and they just told me to research it further online and that is what brought me here. I hope this person gets caught! I also did research on Logan Fernandis in Rio Linda, Ca and found a home number of 916-731-4370 and a home address of 3323 E. Curtis Drive with zip 95818-4433 when I called the home number they said that a Logan fernandis didn't live there nor was that his cell number so I don't know if that home is connected with this scammer but it was only miles from where the cell call was placed from. I feel your frustration I got that call this morning told me I had a warrant for my arrest and they didn't care I had 3 children that that was my problem and that they were contacting the Sheriff Department to have me pick up for a warrant

I just received the number is well from that collar this morning, told me his name is Kenneth Webster and he was not turning in header warrant for my arrest I've never even had a seatbelt ticket, he told me I had 1 hour to send them 695 dollars for he was issued a warrant for my arrest then call me back and told me that he was freezing my bank account and the bank I notified had no idea what he was talking about nor do they even have a male branch manager as he told me the man had me crying my eyes out thinking I wasn't going to be with my 3 kids on Christmas don't fall for you that's a bunch of crap

I received the same call but called the company I use and everything is fine.  What a loser to take money from people who are having problems in these times. I almost fell for it because I have people that depend on me for money each week. Watch out for these people!!!

Just got 6 calls only a different number for them and Kenneth Webster is the attorney. I contact the police, FCC, Consumer Affairs and the REAL Kenneth Webster who said they get this information all the time but I was able to give them the phone number. Crazy.

Got a call today at work and at home from a James Miller. Saying he was from the State Attorneys office. When I tried to call him back to see what this matter is about he said who are you and I asked if he was James Miller? He then hung up. Called him back several times. He keept hanging up on me each time. This is such a SCAM!!! I have called the Police and filed a fruad report.

They just call me at work, I said I was not available and that I could give her the message. Ron Watson said that he was from the State Attornery and I need to get in touch with him ASAP. He a lie I am changing my acct number. I he will be really mad if he tries to getting anything off my credit.

This same number keeps calling me but when I answer they just hang up... I call it back and nothing happens. In all honesty when these guys call back I'm going to mess with them... do***e bags!!
