Just got the same thing by txt: (hope its in good condition as stated on the address am buying it for my dad as a surprise gift I want you to get back with me with your paypal email address that I can pay in asap since im requesting this transaction to be done pay pal , will be responsible for all paypal fee/charges on this") sounds like a big time scammer to me. Who shall we report this phone number  to? Criaglist? FTC? FBI?

I just received a text today from the same number asking to pay full price for a dining room table.  I'm not going to send him my paypal info, but wondering how the scam works?

Lol he literally just text me that exact same thing!!

6/1/13 - got a text from this number 323-364-2889 individual is using typical Scammer wording inquiring about a vehicle listed on Craigslist.  This number has a long web history of approaching Sellers about items offering to pay with Western Union, he's on an Oil Platform, has Agents, etc.

texting me for a craigs list add and is not using cell or email.
Harassing me. He is threating me to clain fraud.
Wanting to buy and using western union and pay pal.
Badddd.

Texted me about a craigslist add for my rhino,said he was an oceanographer and was buying for father. He told me his name was Brian Taylor asked for paypal info.

Craiglist scammer.  Why is this phone number still being used?

Same scam wanted to buy vehicle off craigslist for his father, but was on a contract in California can't get out here but willing to pay full asking price.

Just got a text from this a**,same story on a oil platform pay full price,SCAM when i texted him back and asked him how many people a year he rips off,the next text from him was LOL alot

Got a txt from this # stating he is on an oil platform but wants to buy my vehicle for his father sight unseen! What a guy. He supposedly works for Don Pedro Oil which is out of the U.K.. I have had 2 other scammers from the U.K. do this same crap on a boat sale. One of them sent me a a check that had been forged. The FBI has that now.

Received taxt message on a truck for sale on Craigslist.   Classic scam  - I am out of town, but will pay full price just send me your paypal info.
