Looking for owner info.

I have been getting calls since October 2010  even changed my phone number and they keep finding me.  There were going to have me arrested and told that i wouldn't like it behind the bars.  It would be no fun.  Can't understand them and on my cell phone, their calls are from Turkey and twice in one day one from Kenya and one from Morrocco.  I called my states attorney and talked to him and also filled complaints with local sheriff's office.  THey at first put on a good show until you start asking questions then they get rude and nasty.  I can't imagine that someone who can barely speak English would be working for the Federal government.  
I just wish they would leave me alone.  I asked for their address in Los Angeles today and he hung up me and when you start asking them, they told me I was speaking rubbish.

Just makes me mad.

March 10th @6pm eastern time I too received a phone call regarding an officer name Andy Brown/Tom Scott wanting me to fax to them 150.00$ or I would be arrested for an on going Fraud Investigation!  The cash loaners were  CASHNetUSA--out of Chicago, Ill.--1-800-685-9354.The advance secure site is aware of the b.s. scram dealings and still insist on leading out money!!! I myself did go on there web site/which resulted in these so-called detectives calling me with all my personal information/thank god I did not send them any money/But to my dismay there is a women with the same first and last name as myself but with a differant social security number!! These so-called cops are from LA>here is the number and the names so My QUESTION IS WHY HAVE NOT SOMETHING BEEN DONE ABOUT THIS??? WITH ALL OUR MODERN TECHNIQUES THE REAL LAW OFFICERS CAN'T FIND THE BAD GUYS?? WTF !!! & WTH !! and all such words are like small for that a***ole, f***'n officer Shawn Miller. I don't know about the thing that you both are saying but I can truly say he is one man who can bring the hell out of you. He is so rude and angry if you don't listen ho him.

And when he comes to his own voice and attitude he becomes like a devil, who will just eat you up if you listen to him. He called me and scared the hell out of me. I was like s*** how can a man be so harsh and it was like i hung up the call and was not able to think anything till next 15 minutes, as only his voice was echoing in all my head.

But you need to keep calm when talking to him or you may loose a lot of money. For me it was good that I hung up and did not listen more to him.

I agree with you, Shawn Miller is the person whom I also had a talk with and he gave me the details of that legal matter and case. But we have to keep our minds and ears open when he talks to you as I did. At first i lot it and was hearing it normally and got scared of his word. But slowly i cane to my own sense and thought why am I afraid when I have not taken any loan.

I just don't know how these people get our information.

Christ I think I became their Victim. I paid them a huge amount and now i feel like i fooled myself. Officer Shawn Miller  told me everything about it and he was so sweet in his talks and so good that i just fell to what he said and paid them. At lease i saved a lot of $$$ as i just gave them 30% of what they asked in total.

Beware of this officer named Shawn Miller, he is one guy that can drive you in your own minds, and can make you do what he wants just by talking to you.

These are just the bunch of s*** a***oles who just keep calling to you saying that they are officers. But the real thing is they don't know that just talking like officer won't make them officer. I has talks with Shawn Miller and Andy Brown and both of the talked like they are some good great officers. But when my Hubby took over the phone they started throwing out s*** out of their mouth.

I first received a voice mail from Shawn miller and it was like a bit scary as it said there is a case files against me. Now After that I received a call from some Teddy Bishop and he says me the same thing. But when I told him about Shawn miller , he said don't believe anyone else.

This people calling me from a hell lot of time. I was first called by Shawn Miller and he told me everything. But when i had a talk with my attorney he told it might be a scam. Yesterday i received a call from some Austin Jones and when he talked it sounded like a Asian talking, and i understood my attorney was correct..

why do these people exist... tom scott went to my job looking for....introducing himself as an officer but i missed him...he left a number where i can call back which is this number ....i spoke with this guy on the phone  andy brown telling me something about fraud and money i owed which i never did...how am gonna stop these people going to my job and threatening me ...i really need help....sam henderson just called too from this number ......harassing and threatening ....officer of some investigation

i received a call from one of the so called officer Bibin White and what i found was  very rude collector from Target! Very abrasive and bullying. Was trying to bully me into divulging personal financial information about my husband. My husband has never had an account with Target. When I told him that the reason I am behind on payments is that I am unemployed he insisted that was not a valid reason for being late. I explained that as soon as I could afford to pay off my debt I would I politely asked him to not contact me again and he started to berate me. I hung up on him. I am of a mind now to never pay it off just because of his hateful and belligerent attitude and never understood what all I said.

Well I received the call from them and did believe them. Andy Brown is such a master of talks, but then i went to my attorney and he said me it is a scam. Otherwise I would have surrendered in front of that Andy Brown

Don't bother with these freaks!  Send them a cease communication letter.  First though when they call you again, tell them you spoke with the original creditor and that they informed you that department of law and investigation and that so called a** kicking MF Andy Brown does not have permission to collect the alleged debt.  They will stop.  If they still feel that they need to contact you then send them a cease communication letter and send it certified.  This place buys old debts (most uncollectable)and then tries to intimidate you into paying them.  If you pay for something that is out of the statute of limitations in your state, you have just re-aged the debt.  They are bottom feeding scum.  DON'T give them a dime!!!!

the man i spoke with is tom mack and he is a very rude guy who threatens me all the time granted i do owe their client money but he is a very rude person who thinks he can treat me very rude and he is better then me cuz i have a debt out there. then on top of it i have sent them money and they applied it to some one elses account. which i believ they have done again. then he is calling me at work which i told him he can not and i dont know how he got my number but it can cause me trouble and he threatened me about that

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

Some fraudsters have instructed victims to fax a statement agreeing to pay a certain amount, on a specific date, via a pre-paid Visa card. The statement further declares the victim will never dispute the debt.

If you receive these calls, do not follow the caller?s instructions. Rather, you should:

Notify your banking institutions.
Contact the three major credit bureaus and request an alert be put on your file.
Contact your local law enforcement agencies if you feel you are in immediate danger.
File a complaint at www.IC3.gov.
Tips to avoid becoming a victim of this scam:

Never give your Social Security number?or personal information of any kind?over the telephone or online unless you initiate the contact.
Be suspicious of any e-mail with urgent requests for personal financial information. The e-mail may include upsetting or exciting but false statements to get you to react immediately.
Avoid filling out forms in e-mail messages that request personal information.
Ensure that your browser is up-to-date and security patches have been applied.
Check your bank, credit, and debit card statements regularly to make sure that there are no unauthorized transactions. If anything looks suspicious, contact your bank and all card issuers.
When you contact companies, use numbers provided on the back of cards or statements

I then called Cash Net just to look into this; being very scared to now even talk to anyone, the lady I spoke with was very nice and understanding to my complaint and quickly forward me to the investigation department. She said that there has been multiple complaints regarding the same thing. The lady from the investigation department was in the middle of 2 other calls with the same complaints and apologized that she couldn't talk to me at that time, she took my phone number and said she would call me right back and help me file the formal complaint with them, as well as FCC.

They said soon the number 3233725974 will be blocked

I recommend to anyone who receives this call to call Cash Net or whatever institute they claim to be with and let them know. As of now Cash Net has been very comforting and is trying to make this person stop.

After reading the comments here, regarding the man with a heavy Indian accent, I have apparently been targeted in an internet payday loan scam. I have received calls on my cell and at work, sometimes 5 or 6 calls in a 5 minute period. Stating that if I did not pay him for a supposed outstanding loan, he would have me arrested or he would contact my manager at work and I would be in "serious trouble".

The first office that called me seemed like a real American officer named Shawn Miller, but as I was sent to senior officer some s*** called as Andy Brown i understood by his voice that this are Pakistani or Indian scamers.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to stop this? I have spoken with the people I work with and for and explained what is going on, since they are getting calls as well, but it is rather unnerving.

A man with a heavy accent called me today. He threatened me with court and jail for default on a pay day loan with Cash Net. I have no loan with them. While trying to talk to him, he started yelling at me and saying I would be arrested by federal marshals and I had to go to court tomorrow. Also, he kept asking me if I had a lawyer. I said why do I need one and he kept saying I was going to be arrested. I do have a pay day loan but not with this company. My other loan is not is default. I finally humg up on this person. He called me back and kept yelling. So I hung up on him again. I tried to call the number back but it is not a valid number. After reading the notes on this site, I think I was the victim of a scam and I did not fall for it. I look forward for him to call again. I will keep my cool and turn the tables on him.

In the middle of a very busy, hectic day my boss tells me there is a police officer on the phone by the name James Handerson requesting to speak to me. To start with his indian accent was strong you couldn't understand him. after I asked him several times to repeat himself he slowed down, from the parts I understood he was a police officer from the national fraud division and I was going to be prosecuted for a loan I didnt pay back in the amount of 300.00. I assured him this was a mistake because I didn't take out any loan. I asked what the company name was that i supposedly took out this loan. He said it was cash net. He proceeded to verify my name social security. number. and my bank.I told him to do what he had to do because I had done nothing wrong.He gave me a phone number and said if I didn't have my lawyer contact their lawyer they were going to forward the warrant to the florida fraud division and they would come to my work arrest me and put me behind bars. I just lost my mother to cancer 2 weeks ago . I helped take care of her for 8 months prior to her death. Needless to say its a challenge to get threw each day. This phone call from these heartless people was the last thing I needed. I hope something can be done to stop these people.Its not right that they cause innocent people anxiety and fear.

Actually all these scammers are felicitated by the information. They can simply get and purchase information like our account number name SSN no. and many things to defy us in voice of officers and that to of a department that does not exist at all in USA in present date.

These jerkwads call from so many different numbers that I now just ignore any # I don't know. I have yet to receive one message letting me know what the call is regarding but good thing 800notes exists.

The debt is over 10 years old and in my state you cannot sue a consumer for a debt past the SOL. The only way to cease phone calls is to write a cease & desist letter and mail or fax it to the company.Even if you DO owe the $ from an old debt, don't admit to it, don't make a payment because that will reset the SOL. By law, the HAVE to stop calling or else they risk being sued. I may just contact a lawyer myself because calling a cell phone is against the law as well.

These people are bottom feeding morons that buy old debts for pennies on the dollar hoping you'll be an idiot consumer and respond to their threats.

It was Friday, 4:00 pm and they called.  I have plenty of room on my cell phone to add them to my call reject list.  I have 12 numbers on the list now and will keep adding, they can eat s--t and bark at the moon for all I care!
