I got this one as well.  I am with Verizon, and I recently sold some stuff on Craigslist, listing my cell number. Hmmm...

thinking craigslist might be big, i did have several adds about a month ago with electronics forsale... had number in them, but some numbers were typed while others obvious numbers... (to avoid computer searchers)...  anyway, i recieved the one from mom... called number... dead number... and have had nothing since... anyway, just wish there was a way to identify and take care of these issues

I'm starting to think this is related to the ads we posted on craigslist about our property. First, it was someone who wanted to buy our house for CASH! Yeah, right... Now, a text from a "friend" sharing a link. Not buying it. Please, if you are the one sending these wasteful text messages. Just stop. And get a real life with a real job. This is harassment and you can be charged!

I also just got the same text from this number last night saying a friend had shared a link with me and the link was a biz11healines.com URL. I didn't click on it (of course). I'm with Verizon. My husband (also on a Verizon iPhone) also got a spam text that was similar and called the number but it was a bad phone number.

Just got a text from my "mom." Figured it was spam since my mom doesn't text. Most likely its a google voice number with some a$$hole spamming people.

Got text, but didnt open it. I read on another blog that some magazines, Chase and Raphs info was breached. I ihave both. Someone from the blog was blaming it on Craigslist which i just posted two ads to sells stuff, but other posts said that they got spammed and don't have. Craigslist. I agree with who ever said that about posting on Craigslist.  I have received several spam texts and bogus phone calls after posting on there.  Luckily my number will be changed in a couple of weeks- that's why I used that number!

Text says from Dad. Why do we have to always fight for our lives to protect ourselves from Scams. I wished there were still Lynch Mobs around to keep these type of people at bay. Lord knows our goverment is not going to do it . Theres money in identity theft ! Crooks everywhere .

Got the link today to buz11headlines for a home wealth work at home scheme. It is a scam dont open the link unless you have Linux or your computer may get affected. I got it in Tennessee on a 661 number and th link was to my home towns biz journal in Padukah, KY.

received a blatant spam message

I got this text from "mom" around 3 a.m. this morning. I didnt look the site up or anything. I think its an obvious scam cuz my so called "mom" and I dont talk to each other.....EVER lol So I know it isnt anything really from her.Wondering how this scam got ahold of our numbers....hmmmmm???
