I have receive this email claiming to be a woman that is deaf and is interested in my french coffee table I receive this from an ad in craiglist. I f you receive some thing like this report it.

Also my work schedule is so tight there is no time to come for inspection.

This same guy messaged me via a craigslist post.
Same exact letter, but he used Jonathan Blank as his name.
The last name "Blank," in addition to the "too-good-to-be-true" quality of his letter is what led me to look up his name.

For whatever reason, typing in Jonathan Blank, led me to this post, and I saw that he used the name William Coleman, instead, on this letter.
So, I knew it was a scam.

So, glad this was posted.

My wife received basically the same email which also listed that number as an email relay. The first email came from: Swaraj Karunakara <ope.allen@yahoo.com>; the second from Swaraj Gabii Karunakara <blazinmails@10tecs.com>

She had posted an item on Craig's List-Nashville.

Here's the reply I wrote for her:

"Thank you, Swaraj, for your prompt response (using a different email address).

   FBI Internet Fraud Division

An agent will be in contact with you within the hour to complete this transaction.

just got that exact email from " Jonathon Blank" I didn't feel right about it so I looked up the number and I'm glad I did. I don't know what would have happened if I gave all my personal info.

His name he's using is Wes Schneider and said that he is in Scottland conducting business and his neighbor would drop off the boy. He is to send me a check and cash it and give the remainder of the money to his neighbor??!! Scam if I ever heard one. this is the number I am suppose to call if I need more info. after provoding all my personal information 011447035902058.

This email is an EXACT copy of an email I got when I responded to a Craigslist add for a nanny down here in FL except that the name said from West Schneider.  It is the exact phone numbers & everything.  I haven't given any personal info because something just didn't set right when I got this back, so I googled the personal contact phone number & came across this site.  I have Vonage & make international calls, so I know that the 01144.....phone number is an UK mobile phone #.  I hope this reaches as many people as possible because I don't know what the ramifications of this person getting your personal info.

I made a post on July 2, 2010 Craig's List in Texas and received the response below from a "Mary Smith."  I googled the phone number and found it was a California area code and it led me to this website...  This "crook" must be stopped.  I'm sure that some people would fall for this, but thankfully, I didn't.  I told him I would like to deal with a local person that I could speak to, make a deal with, and then hopefully make a cash transaction.  I don't think that is too much to ask...

wow I feel stupid. I gave this person my address and phone number. Do I need to be worried? I never recieved a check and told them the deal was off.  I wish I would have looked this up first.  And it was my first craigs list listing so I really didn't know what I was doing.
