(323) 413-7934 is a scamer. He tried to scam me on my video camera

Says his name is Charles Wilson.
Replying to a craigslist I had for camera and lenses
Got a scammy vibe and googled his number and I got this site.
This is the original email from him.

Same thing here... idiot asked about my camera & my location. If they had read the ad, they'd know it was a lens, and they'd know the location.

Same here. A response to my craigslist ad. Undoubtedly a scam.
His 1st msg was:

"Am interested in buying your item, please get back to me with your firm price.

Mr. Charles Hall"


but since I required a phone in my ad, he sent another msg:

"Hello

I recently posted ad for  condo  for rent and got numerous e-mails from all over the world ,which looked like scam to me  
and all of them had a lot of similarity.
Some of the names on them are
Prof. Matthew Moreno
Dr. Morgan
Dr. Alvin Gray
Dr. Ibrahim Mohhamed
Mark from E-mail of Kevin Johnson
Raphael from e-mail grant raphaelgrant33@yahoo.com

Amazing, isn't it  and at the same time disgusting

Watch out people.

I got this # in reply to a post on Craigs list.  I think its a scam, the person who sent me this # said it is his boss Evon Yapp.  Be careful.

Is there any way to catch this a-hole any agencies to report him to any way to put him out of his scam business???

I received an email on a dating website with this phone number from a possible suitor....would never call it but thought I would google the number to see if anyone else has been sent that same number.  And the answer to that is yes....

I have a home for rent and got an e-mail from Mr. Kirby also. The story is similar with slight differences. The phone # is the same and yes everything is a rush. Smelled funny and that is what lead me to find this.

I am a Realtor here in San Diego.  I recieved  the same message. Unfortunate he and they prey on the innosent.. He should go to prisson if he isn't already their writing these letters.  Sometimes they will work but most of the time they will not.  It is so sad to think these below the rock type of people get away with it.  I personally recieved the check marched right to my bank and had the manager call the bank the check was drawn on.  The bank asked the manager at my bank to immeditatly fax the check over.  YES, it is defiently counterfeilt.  So my advise to all of you.  Go to your bank and have them call the bank the check is drawn on.  You will all save yourselves a lot of grief!  Their is also a couple of woman involved.  their names are Jane Anderson and a Percilla somebody.  Her name was on an e-mail.

Got an email from a George Kirby, working for Tanglesolve Instrumentation.  Googling that got me here.  He's an engineer in the UK who wants to rent our place.  Usual scam - will wire money paying for a few months up front, wants info and copy of lease, etc.   Everything is a rush.  He said he will be working for a Jeff Carrero at the above phone no.  BEWARE.  This really reeks of a scam.  Here's his line.....
