They called, I blocked. That's about all you can do today. The DNC list is a complete joke. I have filed complaints on other numbers and have never received any follow up from the government.  I suspect the DNC list is nothing more than a catharsis to deceive us folks that the government is actually doing something.

The DNC isn't perfect but it is a step in the right direction.   Seems to me with all the surveillance technology the government has at its disposal, it can, in fact,  start going after the overseas scammers and start hitting them hard.  People in the US who provide technical services to the overseas scammers ought to be charged with fraud.   Not just hit with civil lawsuits.

Called me on January 8, 2014 at 4:37 pm. I called back the number and it is not a working number.

I received a call from this number this morning, they left no message. I tried the number and I get a message that this number is not in service. Probably another fly by night contractor using a bogus number.

I told the person that called that he better not be selling anything, since I am on the Do Not Call List. I told him that I report anyone that violates it. He told me that I am rude and demanding. I hung up and went to report the number, only to find out that the website is down, due to the government shut-down.

The caller said he was selling painting and contracting services.  Started the call by trying to be friendly and then turned ugly when I asked who it was and why they were calling.  The caller told me I talked to much and asked to many questions.  They said it was John Wilson Contracting and when I tried the number back, it was not a working number.

Called, left no message.

Caller hung up as soon as I answered
