The young man told me I could get a $100 WalMart gift card if I paid them $7.60. The payment had to be from a debit card. By the way, I still have my $7.20.  I may be gulible. But, I'm not stupid.

Foreign male or female calling to let me know i've been selected to win a walmart gift card.  all i need to do is pay them one dollar by credit card. get the call about once a week.  you'd think they would get tired of dealing with me. I just love to waste their time.

Got a call 2x, let it go to vmail, they didn't leave a message.

Saying that I won a $250 gas card from enytering a survey, which I love to so.  I was on the phone for about an hour with all the other offersAVAILABLE to me  They will send my card in 5 to10 days and all the other stuff will be sent along with it , if I don`t want to take advantgage     of the othr offers AND haVE TO CALL NAD CANXEL,BUT i CAN STILL USE the gas card at most stations

got a call from this no. about winnig a $200 gas card.  Was on the phone for an hour,getting angrief and angrier  hung up 2 times and they continued to cALL back. they were very polite but pushing.  I know I did the wrong thing and my kids will kill me

We also recieved a call from this number. It was for a home protection system, they said "this is not a sales call" they just wanted me to try it, all I had to do was pay for shipping and handling.

I asked him to remove me from the call list. He said, "I'm sorry sir, I cannnot do that." and hung up.

I recieved the same phone call this morning about the gas card. I asked what the name of the company was and she said they had no name its a promotional company. i told her this was a cell phone and was about to tell her to take me off the list and she hung up on me.

I got this call last night offering a $200.00 gas card just for having my phone number. Luckily I work as a Debit Card Fraud and Risk Analyst. As soon as I mentioned this they hung up, I've done what I can to report the number but it is probably a pre-paid cell phone and the con artist will just go and get another number once the FCC shuts it down. The thing people need to know is to never give out any financial information to anyone they did not initiate the payment with. Whether it is over the phone or the internet.

keep calling my home phone days and nights and no message and when I took the call and asked 'Hello, who is this?' they either 'Hello' forever or started with a sort of $200 gift card AD ... really ugly calls...

Why do you people even answer a number that is not familiar to you?  Everyone knows these scams go on and they are relentless.  If you just don't answer, there is no way for them to "talk" you into anything.  I got these quite frequently, never answered the phone and they stopped...very simple.

Likewise, would call but never speaks.

I recieved a phone call from 323-429-7575 number saying i recieved $200 dollar gas card. Sounded like a foreigner and also sounded very fishy. said i won from visa because i always pay my bill on time but i dont have a visa credit card, i have a debit card so i don't pay a bill. the caller kept saying i he needs me to verify some information so he could give me the gift card pin number and that they would ship the card in a day. he also said i would have to pay $3.95 for shipping and asked if i would agree to it. I said no thank you and he asked me why not. most contest that ask you if you want to accept the offer will not ask you why you wont accept it, they will just say okay thank you. Instead he tried to convince me why i should. Very strange but i hung up because i figured it was a scam to get my information.

This phone# was used as a second one to try & get me to call back. My phone book says it is in the Los Angles, Calif. area. Why can't it be traced. No telling how many people have been scamed. The first # was left on a text saying thx for visiting our site & the $200. Wal-Mart gift card. That # was 877-233-4080. I gave too much info. and hung up. I gave my credit card #. So I cancelled it & they're giving me another. After I hung up they called me back immediately and the number they called from was 323-429-7575. I was home so I looked the area code up. The law is supposed to be good at tracing syber crime. Maybe they can get these scammers..  They could hardly speek english. Very broken accent. Could hardly understand them.  Who knows they may be terriorest The guy said his name, Sir Savio Robinson. I'm sure its phony.

This is Dec. 24,09. The 23rd. I got a call on my cell. It was 877-233-4980 about Home Protection and $200. gift card from Wal-Mart. My message was tezt. I think I got scamed. I called and cancelled my credit card and they're giving me another #. When I finally hung up on them my cell rang immediately several times. I didn't answer. When  I got homwe from wowrk I finally typed in the 800# & found out it was a scheme. Then later I looked on recent calls and found 323-429-7575. I looked the area code in phone book and it is in Los Angles. Then this morning I typed this # in & found they're using this # too for Wal-Mart gift card. Looks like the Law could find this 323 # and catch them. That would be wonderful. I don't know what will happen with me but the # on my credit card no longer works.
