Contact your cell carrier and report the number as a nuisance number and request it be blocked. Inquire if they offer a service to black list numbers so they can not call or message you at all, Verizon lets you block up to 5 for free.
Also inquire if you can forward the text to 7726 aka SPAM:

If you have a smart phone, there are many anti-spam apps. Check your phone's app store.

They somehow got my first name and used that with the message: Linda OMG http://gototothissitehere.com/cnbc2/ got it at 6AM

Got the same thing on my text. I erased it too

I got a text that said:

"andrew HaHa> http://gotothissitehere.com/news2/"  I didn't click for fear of being hacked.

I also got a scam message from this number. Completely bogus.
