Called and left no message. I called back and didn't understand what she said.

I got a call from 323-474-0317 indicating they saw my request for a Health Insurance Quote. They said their name was Donald. they quoted a Health Insurance premium of $391.00 p/month for me and my two kids and a one time charge of $135.00. They looked up my name and said their database shows I have been taking xxx medications in the last few yaers and then said that the only carrier that would approve me was US Healthcare because I have diabetes.

They wanted my credit card # right away and indicated that the quote is only available during a specific "window" period. I told them to email me the details of the plan so I can review and after I feel it is acceptable I will call them back with my card #. They insisited to do a "pay delay" if I give them my card #. I said no. They hung up on me.

I answered the call from this number in Spanish and was disconnected without hearing a word from the caller.

When I get a call from a number I don't recognize, I answer in Spanish and pretend I don't speak English. It usually ends the call pretty quick -- except for the one time the caller started speaking Spanish back to me. I don't know enough Spanish to keep talking.

I think there Space Aliens trying to abduct your money. Repeat. They are not from California. They are from the other side of the Universe.  They could be Klingon's.

The USA sends foreign Aide to 100 countries around the world in the billions. These countries get sophisticated phone systems/call centers to fake caller IDs and call Americans and harass us  daily and try to scam us out of more money. The US Government does nothing. They could give a crap. If I do not pay my taxes the Internal revenue will be up our a**.  Call about these scam and they say it is non profit and they can do nothing.

Is not in California. Its offshore. The number on caller ID is fake. Coming from China or Hong Kong.

Oriental dude called.  Sounded like it was offshore in China or Hong Kong. Wanted money up front for National Diabetes. Scam. Scam Scam.  Rude as hell. They had my Name and Address. I told them to go screw.

The ADA is not going to ask you about your personal medical status, let alone the medical status of your friends and family. If you happen to be diabetic and these people called you, it has nothing to do with your medical records, which are private. This is just some people trying to scam random strangers.

The Do Not Call registry was created to keep "legitimate" telemarketing businesses from spamming people's phones. It can't do anything about con men.

But I wish that with the technology we have available to us today, we'd be able to block phone numbers as easily as we can block spam email. I'm jealous of the person who said they can only block so many calls. I can't block any with my service (though I have a land line --gasp!). Though I bet they make you pay for that service, anyway.

Just received a call from 323-474-0371.  I let my machine pick up and they left no message.  We too, are on the "Do Not Call" list.

I have received 2 calls from this number.  The first time I answered I didn't get a response and I have a personal policy where I only say "hello" 2 times and if there is no response, I hang up.  The second time I received a call from this number an Asian woman who had very poor and broken English skills asked if "anyone at this number has Diabetes?" I asked her to repeat the question (just so I could be clear as to what the absurd question was regarding) she repeated and when I said that no one she hung up on me. Not sure what the health of my household members have to do with solicitations but if this is the Diabetic Association...they may want to hire another "company" to do their dirty work.

Picked up the phone today after numerous calls and listened to the boiler room guy reading the script and attempting to get my credit card number for a donation to the ADA  - (Am Diabetes A**'n).  A SCAM ORGANIZATION.  
DO NOT WASTE your time and pick up the phone.
As they are calling from a regular phone number (not 800 or 877) they do not qualify under the DO NOT CALL listing.

This is a scam!  I am on the Do Not Call List.  I am reporting this number to the Florida Attorney General Consumer Affairs.  It has to stop!

The same thing just happened to me, exact same code as well.  UGH!

why are you calling me in NY and when I say Hello, a recording says "Thank You". and hangs up.

HERE IS HOW TO STOP THESE CALLS!!! I was getting calls from this number everyday, with the same results as seen on here. Not all phone will have this feature, which is a bummer. But there is a "call block" on my home phone. It is a Panasonic, and I go to "caller block" and put in the number. When that number calls you, it rings once and then it says "call blocked" and hangs up on that number. It helps. You can do many numbers!   Hope this helps!

This number has called but does not leave a message.  I do not answer calls that I do not recognize, so I appreciate everyone reporting that it is indeed a scam.

Third time I've gotten a similar call ... always asking about diabetes & if anyone here has it, wanting to sell supplies.  As I was getting rid of her she said she was from the National Diabetes Association.  Afterward I called the NDA to get them to take me off their call list.  I was informed that the NDA does not solicit to sell supplies.

I also just  received this call and the numbers are  the same  . I asked who it was and heard music, people talking  and other sounds in the background (  a  Booze BAR maybe?) I  am getting mighty sick of this and have  had 2 of these kinds of call just today ! I was waiting for an important call about a family member  while eating lunch and just picked the phone up..and it was NOT a call about my family member.

Got a call from this number from a lady with a heavy accent.  She wanted to know if we had diabetes. When we answered no she wanted names and numbers for people we know that do.  What in the world?!

Finally decided to answer this one today.  Caller ID comes in as V08152...  Was just like others described - lots of noise like it was a bad connection, lady with accent, etc.  I thought she said "American Retiree Association", but I guess she very well could have said 'diabetes.'  I told her to take our name off their list and never call here again.  She was apologizing as I hung up.  BTW, I am on do not call, and no one here has diabetes (or is a retiree for that matter).
