I just started receiving daily calls from this number and it's interesting that this didn't start until the phone company cut my phone line and subsequently repaired it.  My number is unlisted just as indicated by the previous post.

I just started getting this call and I do not answer to numbers that I don't know. My phone number is unlisted in the phone book, but somehow these people have my number.

Numreous Calls regarding satellite service offer; usually between 9;45 and 11:00 am. 3 messages left by a recorded voice-after that phone rings until answering machine picks up-delayed hang up. We are on the WI do not call...

They call me at least once a week, and leave no message. Please get them to stop!!

Thanks guys. You have been a big help. I was wondering who this number was, and your efforts in clearing up my confusion on this matter is greatly appreciated. I get a lot of criminal scam callers, and it looks like I can add this one to my list. If it will help, you might file a complaint with www.ic3.gov

I get over 50 calls a month from all sorts of scammers and or telemarketers. Over a month ago I bought a 'Privacy Call Center' from 'http://www.digitone.com/' and it's incredible. You can list all your friends and love ones numbers and even a specific area code and prefix to allow, and they will ring and pass thru unobstructed. All others will be asked to enter an extension number of the party they want to speak to, and then will be disconnected. It catches every single unwanted call. I've had 30 days of peace and quiet. Our number ends in a 0001 and it's obviously a big hit with these bottom feeders. I don't work for digitone and this is strictly an unsolicited testimonial. Good luck!

Pre-recorded message informing me of satellite installation service

calls and doesn't leave msg--not even satellite offer.  waits till answering machine picks up.  annoying because hangs up and answering machine runs for about a minute.

This number called my work number and it was quiet at first.  I normally hang up but I was writing down the number on called ID so I could check it out.  Finally, a recording anounced an advertisement for satellite TV along with "gifts" for purchase.  How annoying!

They have called me to send $400 and they will send me a yorkie puppy they cannot keep in Nigeria.  I was suspecious and asked them if I could pay for the plane ticket from here and have not heard back from them.

I just received this call today, googled the number and saw all this. 866-916-9993 Eric calling about a satellite system. This is all interesting!

Not recognizing the number, I let it go to VM.  Message said "John... calling about satellite TV, etc...  I've had this as a text message before.  If I had a name & address, I'd look into a class action lawsuit.

I also have asked many times to be removed, both by dialing 2 after the call and by asking the representative to exclude me from their list. I just called the number back and got a recording to be removed, anyone want to place a bet that my number will not be removed? Interesting enough, I already have a satellite system! I also am on the donotcall.gov list! They are a real pain in the neck!!!

Not only is this a Satelite Service touting a company I would not have, it's a recording and when I hang up it does not disconnect.  What a pain!

They call each week, who are they. I have asked them not to call anymore.

I have asked to be removed from their list several times.  I am tired of the calls.  I did find out that the company name is Satelite Services.  I asked for the company name and then he hung up.  Interesting!  They know they are doing something wrong when they hang up.  I'm getting itemized bills from now on and I'm going to go after them.  If you have their number on your bill and you can tape them and my cell phone can do that then why not set up a case against them.  They get fined and you get compensation.   I hope they are reading this.  I'm going after you.  You keep calling my business and I'm tired of it.  You can hide through auto dialers but you can't hide for long.

Receiving numerous calls about this stupid satellite offer.  I have asked four times now to be removed from their calling list, yet they keep calling me. Stop - Please!!  I thought the Do Not Call list was supposed to stop these kinds of things.  I am getting at least 8-10 calls every day from various lenders and satellite companies and it is getting worse lately.  Please - respect our privacy and our desire to be left alone!!

satellite offer called on my cell!!!! FCC should require wireless providers to give users option to block phone numbers. Otherwise, they should not charge for inbound calls...

talking about i been approved for a satellite service and i didn't apply for it.

John called and said to call back at 888-321-4516 for a satellite installation with a bunch of other stuff thrown in.  Funny, I'm registered with www.donotcall.gov.  One more and they'll be reported.
