Called me a lot of times no answer no sound just kept calling. I hope this is a computer system error and not a human being.

keep receiving phone calls everyday at least twice a day from this phone number. Heavy  Middle Eastern accent man. Asking if I wanted to save money on my heating and electricity bills. He
became irritated when I told him I'm not interested.

I recieved a call from some guy with and Indian accent. He said he was with T-Warner Cable. He was offering a special on how to save money for Water and Power bills through T-warner. He asked what state i was in, i said California. then he hung up the call. i tried calling it but keep getting the number called is not available. this person had tried calling me about 4 different times. i ususally let my voicemail get calls from numbers i dont know. he never left a voicemail.

Got previous calls before from this number and over the past 24 hrs I have had 4 calls from it, no answer or reply when i say Hello and Im in Canada and this is a California number, not sure why he is calling me. I worked for comcast out of a call center in canada but have no reason to have calls from comcast as its services are not available in Canada.

I have gotten several calls from this number and it is getting to be very annoying!

This guy called me 7 or 8 times now but I was never at home. When I tired to call back the line instantly went dead.

my grandma gave out info to them card number and her address if she cancels her debit card will she be safe?

This number keeps calling me at all hours of the day
never leaves a message and just seems a little strang to me

Funny thing...that local cable company isn't my provider.  I'm guessing they're just fishing for numbers and using local business names to try to hook people with their scam.

Same thing...male that was difficult to understand, claiming to be from my local cable company and something about winning a $100 gift card.  I hung up as well.

just got the call about cox i think then he gave me acall back number that went straight to voice mail #3235219836 had no idea what he was saying

I get a call from this number but when you call it back it says it is a non working number

Got the same call from an Indian man claiming to be from COX, saying I won a $100 gift card. He kept saying OK? OK? trying to get me to accept... I asked him who he was again -mid convo, and he had to think for a second about which company he was claiming to be from... I could tell it was a scam from the beginning but decided to google the number and figured i'd write this to help the cause of him getting caught!

I received a call from this number for the third time today and finally answered it. On the other end was an indian man whos voice I recognized from another scam number several years ago, and was instantly on guard. The man told Me that I had won a 100 dollar gift card from Comcast due to My loyalty as a customer to them, and when I told Him that I did not have an account with them He seemed really taken aback, and asked who My account was through. I refused to tell Him and, and said that if He was from a company I had an account with He should know what company that is. Upon hearing this He got rather irate with Me and said I had no need to be rude. At this point I told him that I recognized his voice as that of the man that called me a year or so ago claiming to be from dell customer support wanting the make and model of my computer because they had detected that I had a virus He audibly gasped and hung up on Me with a quickness. This number IS a scam and what is the best way to keep a scam going? Let some people win so that it adds a minor element of truth to the scam.

I've received a call daily for the past 3 days from some male with a heavy Indian accent claiming to be Eric from Comcast.  He is offering a $100 gift card.  Each time he calls I ask to be removed from their call list.  It does NOT help.  I have reported it to the DoNotCall Registry and doubt that will help either.  Grrrrr

this number called twice in a row, when I answered the person hung up. And when I tried to call back it stated I dialed a wrong number.

FYI, Call your carrier immediately and report the call to them.  Tell them exactly what was said, the tone of voice, male/female, background noise, accent, etc.  They will launch an investigation for you.  You can also report it to the local police as a suspicious circumstance.  In this case this idiot was only fishing for personal information, I had my carrier block the number on all the phones associated with the account and made sure no pending charges were forthcoming.  Be safe.

Guy with Indian Accent called and said I was a loyal Comcast customer and had won $100 gift card.  I told him I was law enforcement and he was now being reported.  He began to argue with me, giving me time to place a trace.  The number is from LA/ Hunnington Beach area.  He hung up before I could get more info.

I asked him what is the catch and then he hung up

indian accent, claims to be calling from Insight cable (WHICH DOESN'T EXIST ANYMORE AS OF 3 MONTHS AGO), claiming I get a $100 gift card and supplements as long as i pay 9.99 shipping.  very loud background noises, obviously not trustworthy

THIS IS A SCAM. THEY CAN BE IN NIGERIA AND HAVE A CELL PHONE THAT LOOKS LIKE THE # IS COMING FROM CALIFORNIA.  DO NOT PAY THESE IDIOTS ANYTHING. THEY HAVE BEEN REPORTED. I PRAY THEY CATCH THEM.  NEVER EVER GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION TO ANYONE.

HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE UNFORTUNATE MOST PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW TO GOOGLE THE NUMBER. ESPECIALLY THE ELDERLY.

Why would you say the guy was an Indian???  He sounded like he was from Nigeria to me. It is a Scam. They are doing it to Time Warner, AT&T, Com Cast, and lots more. Don't pay the money. This has been reported. Hopefully they catch the Scum Bags who are doing it.

I just got this call as well. I thought it suspicious as first i heard background noise and my phone said it was coming from california it also didnt match any Time Warner Cable numbers i know. he also claimed i got a 100$ gift card but thanks to finding this forum while he blabbed away i hung up on him.

Shady man calling I won a $100 visa gift card and raspberry supplements - just needed to pay the $9.99.  I said to call me back so that I could research and thankfully was forwarded this site.

Foreign man said I won $100 giftcard from Comcast, when I began to ask why he hung up. Called the number and it was not a working number
