CALLED 323-785-2000, EXTENSION 2004, SPOKE TO CARRISA.  ASKED HER TO REMOVE MY NUMBER FROM THEIR CALL LIST, WHICH SHE DID.

Got a call saying they ran across my profile online and are casting in my area and would like me to audition.  Said to please call back Shawn at xt. 3006.  Didn't sound.

Along with all of you guys I been getting these calls for two years. When I first got them I was extremely happy, because acting has been my dream. I went through a lot of acting school, so I thought it was finally paying off. So I talked to on of my teachers at the school, and they said do not fall for it. Exploretalent is a scam, just like instantcast. Do not go waste your money at those places. They are just there to get people's hopes up, and then take their money. Right now they are sending the twilight casting around, because they know it is the thing that is in right now. THat means they know that there are alot of girls who will be willing to pay the money they want, but then they never get a role. If getting into acting was that easy, there would be way more actors. It is hard to know who to trust, but most "agencies" on the internet are fake.

hmm yeah, i got that in my hotmail inbox this morning :/ i was soooooo happy!!! but now when im reading all this im not sure what to do anymore... i mean it would be a dream come true to be in a twilight movie, but can i really trust explore talent??

Yeah, I was told that they're casting for Twilight Saga: Eclipse and that extra actors and small roles are needed and to call this # for details.

I got a text saying they need actors for the Twilight Saga:Eclipse. That actors are needed for small parts. This isn't the first time I have recieved a text or a call from them

they have texted me a few times lately. Wanted me to pay them $199 for 12 months representation from there company.

said on text-   Brand Ambassadors Needed- Pays $200 per day + travel- 6 month promo   m/f 18-45

Received a text message from this number 323-785-2000 sounded like telelmarketing hotline people that answered and said they werea casting advisor, the computer system was down and they would call me back in 15 minutes, so who knows what this is really about, they did not ask me for money.

Its not a scam if ur not paying to audition so no its not a scam

I got an email from sms casting...saying they were casting for a major motion picture. Pays up to $5000 and to call this number ASAP. Exclusive ET Casting.

Got a call saying need extras from; sms_casting@exploretalent.net.

I also got a call from Explore Talent, 323-785-2000. They run a paid casting service on the internet that I signed up for once (as a potential consultant to its owner, on other matters). Despite my request to be taken off their list, I still get same script as above, most recently from Buddy.

I Recived a text from this number saying that a kids clothing line needed modles ages 4 - 16 they would get paid $500 a day plus travile to LA., but when I called they said there name so quickly and put me on hold, then asked what I was calling for I said I was calling about the text I recived on my phone at that moment the gal said hold and hung up on me. Then I called back and they put me on hold and a Steve ansered and Gave me a Spill about what this clothing line called Bori Bori then they told me i had to be a paid member and it would cost me for a yr. $199.50 for 6 months $199.94 and for 3 months $60.95. So I then told them I would have to talk to my husband. Steve Russle told me to call back and we would go from there.

please people don't fall for any of this bull it does not work like this you have to have an agent to get an agent you must go to auditions it's the only way it works been doing ths for years and we did find an agent by going to auditions in our towns.

My text msg. says Extras Needed for Feature Film, Pays up to $125. per Day. Call Bla, bla, bla # for more info. Seeking ages 1-70. Now that just about includes us all doesn't it. I think most of us looking for work will just jump at that chance,and I am so glad I looked this up and found you guys. I would hate to be taken for a fool. I have been unemployed for almost a year now and am getting desperate. So glad have not been the only one.

I am soooooo sick of paying to get these text messages, I'm too old for this crap. How can I get off their call list?

A message was sent to my phone saying that I qualified for a majoring casting for a MAJOR AMUSEMENT PARK COMMERCIAL!!! and that it pays $500 per day and to call the listed number for more info on an EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY!! who's this? is it even a real txt from a company? can anyone answer why this "company" is sending false information. SCAM ARTISIT for sure!
