Caller ID says "California".  I don't answer and they never leave a message.  Has called several times.  Most likely telemarketer.  If you don't know the caller ID, let it go to voice mail.  Maybe they'll figure it out and move on.

I had the same experiance and finally got through to them. I spoke with the manager and told him about my experiance. He alled me a hypochondriac and then handed the phone to an employee. The employee was unaware (clueless) of the conversation and gladly gave me the company information when I said I needed some construction work done.

This guy is a real piece of work! Called & asked if I needed construction work done (in a African American voice). I said no thank you & please remove me from your list, I am on do not call.gov. I got so many threatening calls from this guy I had to call 911 & report him. On the 4th, 5th & 6th call, which were getting progressively more belligerent, profane & threatening. Sad he has nothing better to do!

Got call today from this number listed as out of area on caller ID.A barely audible female voice asked 2x for a someone; not of this household. I asked for name again. I said there is no one by that name in this household. She asked if there is a reason for me yelling at her and hung up. The connection was very poor.

This guy called and asked for someone, I said he had the wrong number. He says really because he gave me his number and told him to call him. Uh who is this? you talk to this guy and he gave you my number ? He said yeah he told me to call him when we were playing ball together. He was obviously joking but what kind of business has people playing around with potential customers.

I kept asking to identify himself and he wouldn't. Then ended up hanging up on me.

Sounds fishy to me.

2nd call in a week.
Telemarketers.
Told him I am on the do not call list and what he was doing is unlawful.

Didnt recognize the number so I let the ans machine get it and they hang up.  Did a reverse search and it said that it is a landline in Santa Monica but didnt say if it is business or residential.
