Scam or no scam, if you are on the do not call registry, they are prohibited from calling, unless you have done business with them in the preceding 198 months; you probably have not, since this is probably a scam.  The DNC list is almost impossible to enforce because these jerks simply get new numbers and they are computer dialed.

I rarely get commercial calls and am on the DNC list. But I keep getting calls about my air ducts.  I can't tell if it's a DNC violation or a complete scam. The problem is that if they have no intention of cleaning air ducts and just want to get credit card numbers, then it's not a commercial call. I was actually told by the FCC that they have no power to do anything about that type of call because the FTC deals with scams, and if the company has no intention of selling me anything, it's not a violation of the DNC.

If I can get them to send somebody out, perhaps the person will get the message when I ask in person to be put on the DNC. I'll be more than happy to tell the person which of us is doing something illegal.  If it keeps up, I will ask them to send somebody over. If they ask for payment up front, it will be a problem.

I just got a call from them.  I tried to call back to see what happened, and got a message that my call can't be completed as dialed.  I tried again thinking I might have misdialed, and got same message.   I agree with everyone else...Do Not Call doesn't work worth a darn.   Of course, what Government agency does?

Received this call at 6:27p, but didn't answer thanks to previous posters on this site!

This scammer is calling again!!!!

I asked the caller if she's like to come to my house and carass my gigantic adam's apple; she tsked and hung up.

The number called at 11:15 am on Wednesday, 10/23/2012. Did not leave a message however, after checking on the internet other people said they were offering vent cleaning.

Yeah. I play that game with them sometimes. I put on a great little-old-lady voice that fools them every time. The last time this number called I told the woman that I didn't have much money but I would consider using some of my food budget to buy her product. She thought that was a fine idea. Sickos.

Four pages of complaints on these morons just since May!!! Why doesn't someone shut these people down? At the very least, the phone company could take action since they are using the phone lines to brake the law and harrass people.

Press one and blast away.  Hope they enjoy the conversation with my air horn.  Used to use a whistle.  Not loud enough!!!

Really? Calling from southern Ca. to clean air ducts in northern Ca.?When is the government make the phone company do something about crap like this? The phone company certainly isn't going to do anything because these type of unsolicited robo-calls generated lots of income for them.

If you have time....  keep them on the line as long as possible as they go through their several sales schemes.  It can be kind of a fun game to see how much of their time you can waste.  It fun to hear the frustration in their voice as they explain over and over what they mean and want to sell you.  

Or... just block the caller.

They left a message about Air Duct Cleaning and the dangers of a not having clean air ducts. They were offering to clean air ducts for a "donation" of $29. Donation? I called the number back and it said the call could not be completed

Apparent automated call that left a recorded message saying that they will clean my air ducts and chimney for a small "contribution" of $49.95. Press 1 to speak with a local representative; press 2 to be placed on their "Do Not Call" list.  That local representative for any state in the nation.  Another number to block.

After all this time, they are still begging me to let them clean my airducts.  What part of NO don't they understand?

Are you sure the FCC is standing at your side?  I tried hundreds of complains and it just does not work.

These people keep calling and leaving a recorded message about airduct cleaning.   They say press 2 to be removed.  I pressed 2 but it was just a message and had no effect.

I am on the DO NOT Call list. These people left a message offering to clean ducts in my house for $49.99 and they said something along the lines that that will reduce the chance of me catching a cold (what?).

Probably doesn't do any good complaining because my guess is that it is a phony call being made anonymously using a computer. Calling the number, blocking my number from going out (*67) I get the recording, "We can not complete your call," telling me that it is a scammster!!! Most times, (I NEVER EVER ANSWER), checking out Caller ID, and usually letting it go to our machine. But often so sick and tire of all these A__HOLE calls, I just answer and immediately HANG UP!!!

Why you would answer these calls is ridiculous...further, why anyone calls them back is even more absurd.
It's a given fact...we're not going to win!!!!  We know DO NOT CALL does not work...even filing a complaint doesn't do squat.
BOTTOM LINE.......Don't answer an area code that you are not familiar with.  Let them spend their money!.
Seems most of these calls are to cell numbers.

Some party trying to part us from our hard-earned money, no doubt. Thieves. I put this caller on my Panasonic cordless phone Call Block. They'll always get a busy signal. Alas, this phone can only hold 30 phone numbers in their Call Block memory. Better than nothin'.

Air Duct Cleaning offer left on my voice mail on a regular basis.  Obviously, the do not call list is ignored!

These idiots have left about a dozen or more messages on my phone. My phone # is on the do not call list and I have filed a complaint for this phone number multiple times with donotcall.gov.

I just got a call from this number at 104pm today. I did not recognize the number, and caller ID said "out of area", so I let my machine pick up. When my message was over, the robocall recording was already in full swing. All I heard before it cut off was something about dryer vent cleaning. I will report this to the fcc and ftc, not that it ever does any good!
