I got a call today at 5.09 PM and it was disconnected after one ring. I dint bother to call back.

Got a call claiming that I was interested in refinancing my home.  Two names were given to me, Rita and Amadle(sp???, foreign accent).  After a brief discussion they claimed they would call me back.  They did give me their phone number though....no caller ID information obtained.

After answering, someone on other end hangs up.  I heard music in the background.  Wish there was some way to kick the a** of these people.

Every single night at 19:20 the phone rings with AMG REFIPAL.
I do not answer the phone to them after the first three times answering, it hangs up just as soon as I answer.

I just read your email and I couldnt believe it...it sounded just like my story.  I actually got a VP at Countrywide to admit that one of the sales people at Countrywide may have shared my information with other companies.  She said that this was not tolerated at Countrywide, but it seems to be happening quite often to people like you and me who contact them to refinance.

These people even seem to have gotten my cell number.  They are telemarketers working for various refi companies (or maybe themselves).

I received a call from this number and answered the phone.  The caller said he was with a mortgage company and asked if I had recently contacted their company to refinance my mortgage.  I had not and told him I was not interested in his services.  Approximately two hours later, a call from the same number was received.  I did not answer this call.

Applied for Countrywide quote through Yahoo ad.  Never heard from them, but got numerous calls from AMG-Refipal.  Finally talked to them, and they 'heard I was interested in refinancing', but wouldn't say how they knew.  Hmmm.  Never heard of them.  Said a broker would call me back in 10 minutes with a quote, haven't heard yet.  Didn't ask for SSN.

When I googled this company I found the same as everyone - Refi  and also an ad on Craigslist looking for "closers".  The same as a previous post, I remember filling out an interest form for Countrywide a few days ago and I have gotten a few calls now from various refinance companies.  Shame on Countrywide!

Several reports posted in a short period of a time that are all over-the-top in their praise of this company.

What an amazing coincidence.

I was desperate and have been applying online to for someone to help me save my home. Americas mortgage Group called me back after my online application.  After explaining my situation to the call operator he said the owner of the company wanted to speak to me. The owner Andre Wegner spent over two hour going over my situation and giving me my best options. I am happy to report that not only did he help me save my home here in Spartsburg South Carolina but that he has done everything he told me he would and more for me.
These guys really care about people and try to actually help people like myself. myself.

Americas Mortgage Group is great! Thank you Kee, Kelly,and Cathy for helping me repair my credit and getting me the loan that knowbody could or would help me with you guys are great.

Americas Mortgage Group called me after i applied on-line for a loan. When know body would or could help me out at that time. Well I am proud to report not only have the helped me repair my credit taking me from a 586 3 months ago to a 749 today, but on Jan 3, 2008 I will be closing on a new 30 year fixed loan at 5.85%  These guys are great, doing everything they said they would do for me. Thank You Refipal and Americas Mortgage Group for helping me save my home and repair my bad credit.

This phone belogs to a compapny called "Refipal".  their owner has an interesting record to say the lease.  They do have a web site, and contact numbers.  I suggest anyone who gets a call from these people call them.  Supposedly I have been put on their do not call list, but I really do not believe that fact.

I had contacted Countrywide via an ad on Yahoo.  I did not authorize additional emails, etc.  but did give my cell phone as the call back number.  I received a call from Countrywide and told them I would not be re-financing after discussing their rates.  Immediately I started getting calls from this number.  I called them back and they are another mortgage company!  I told them I was not interested and told them to take me off the list.  Just got another call from them today.  I believe Countrywide sold my information.

If u ask for a loan and give ur info, they run ur credit report, and either they share the info or someone hacks into the data base and gets it thats how they get our phone #s , thats my theory.....

This is just another way to get around the DO NOT CALL LIST with your prospective state.  To handle abusive clowns: Call them and ask them for a fax number, then send about 20 black pages through, on multiple days and times, for approximately a week.  On the last day send a message at the begining telling them to leave you alone and something tells me thet will.

This person called, supposedly representing a company called America's Mortgage Company, stating that she 'saw that I was interested in refinancing my mortgage.' I told her no I wasn't and that she was calling a cell phone registered with the do not call list. I am reporting to the FTC, everyone else should do the same - AMC does NOT do telemarketing. (They used to be Ameriquest Mortgage)

Caller wanted social security number to "codify my case". When asked what that meant he said it needs to be documented. I told him I need an address
first, caller quickly became angry and started accusing me of not letting him do "his job". When I became persistant, I heard him discussing what to do next with his master in the background and after getting nowhere hung-up. Beware of these scam artists.
