recieved call but they hung up when answered did not answer when i called them back

If people like this (and there seem to be lots) would spend as much time working
a real job as they spend wasting our time with these lame attempts to scam
us... They would not need to try and rip people off. They would have legal means
of supporting themselves. Besides, a nice warm bed has to be better than under
those rocks they presently reside. Don't cha think? Just saying.

I got a call from this number today. Each time they call there is no one on the other end of the phone.

Some dipstick from this number called our business after hours. When the recorder picked up, heimmediately hung up.  Saved me from slamming the phone in his ear.  Caller ID showed "CTI" and the number is, allegedly, a landline out of Los Angeles, CA.  We don't do business with anyone in CA and if it's some guy trying to sell us some investment scheme he can blow it out where the sun don't shine because I figure that if these investment people were really, really good at their jobs, they wouldn't need to cold-call people. Investors would be scrambling to call THEM.

I got a call from Dan from CA at 8:34PM Central time. He knew my first name too, and hung up when I asked him what he wanted.

Same deal.  Guy said he was from California then started asking me questions about where I had my money invested.  I hung up on him.  Very strange phone call.

Phone rang, I answered, nobody on the line, I hung up.

Got a call. No message left.

No message: Not interested in anything they are offering

Got a call caller Id said Guzman, Marta No one there. Called back and after many tries got it to ring. But it rang then went dead.

I received a phone call from 323-851-1960 and said Hello twice and they hung up!! Scam? The name said Marta Guzman, and when I called back it rang busy for over 20 minutes

Missed the call, no voice mail. Unknown caller.

Guy called and asked for the owner, asked who he was, said he was Dan with CTI and that they were calling in regards to research done for software.  When I asked what that meant, he said we'll call later and hung up.

Got a call and the guy knew my first name, and when I asked who it was he said Dan, when I asked where he was calling from, he said California. I replied hello Dan from California, and he hung up. the name on the phone was Guzman, Marta.

Called today - nobody there?

Yea I got two calls from them today.  Left no message and when I called back, there was no answer.
