I also recommend you check your credit reports from the 3 national credit reporting agencies to see if there are any unpaid debts showing up on your credit reports.  The only truly FREE annual credit report from all 3 national credit reporting agencies can be accessed at www.annualcreditreport.com

I just missed this call and listened to the voice mail saying he's called several other times in a pertinent tone.  I don't owe anything so I'll just ignore this call. Thanks

LMAO!  Ohmigosh... Okay, so I just had the pleasure of speaking with the wonderful Dan Garrett.  This man is as wonderful as all the previous posters have stated.  I received a call from a number I did not recognize but I decided to answer it. It was a recorded message stating that they have made several attempts to call me (not me specifically but my number) and that I needed to call them right away.  I called the number back and a woman answered with a simple, "Corporate office."  I told her that I had missed the call and wanted to know what it was regarding.  She asked me to hold and then Dan Garrett answered with, "Corporate office."  I told him that I had missed a call from this number and he asked for the number called.  Dan Garrett is the same voice in the recorded message from the initial call.  I gave him the number and he said that it probably had something to do with a serving of paperwork.  He looked up the number and asked if I knew of a Denise.  I told him no and explained to him that we were renters and knew that the past couple of tenants before us were bad tenants that had to be evicted.  He then told me that there was a process that I needed to go through to ensure that I wasn't giving him a bogus story.  I told him that I do not have to and that he just needed to remove my number from their calling list.  He informed me that  , legally, I have to go through this process.  I will be blocking his call and finding out where I need to report him and his company to.

Same things here they keep calling repeatedly leave threatening messages on the answering machine at one point they made reference to my neighbors son my wife told him he don't live here stop calling no change will have to call the phone company and lodge complain against them

I keep receiving calls from the same number. It is a woman who says that the matter regards my spouse as well as my property. They are calling my sister as well. I blocked the number. If it regarded my spouse as well, then why aren't they calling him too? I will not call them back because I know that they are just trying to get me to pay a debt. If they bought the account from a company, I do not owe them a dime. It is really getting annoying them calling all the time, it should be against the law for them to harass people like they do.

Myself, husband and sister rec'd v/m messages all on the same day. I spoke with a Joseph. When I started probing for information, he said I was listed as a contact to try to get a hold of my sister. I said, is this an emergency, is she hurt? He said, no, she is listed as the plaintiff, we are the defendant. I said, was she arrested, did she hurt someone? He then started with the insults calling me nosy and why am I asking all these questions. You called me, I said, you want me to provide you with information, but I want information first. I told him, my husband is not a contact for her. He said, what is she your husband's ex girlfriend. I said no, she's my twin. Then I threatened to sue them for harassing us and when I walk into court with my bald head because I'm going through breast cancer and don't need the stress, he said why are you bringing your problems into this conversation? He threatened to call the local police dept if I called them back!!!!!! Guess what, I'm calling them back.  

Woman l/m said she was from my associates and calling about a complaint they received and that my business needed to call today or it would be filed!

Just received a blocked call from Jason Bennett a process server who wishes to serve papers on me & needs to verify a date & time to serve the papers - he left a phone number of 657-999-4209 as a call back number for J T & Associates.

Yesterday I received a call from Matthew Matteo from J T & Associates stating that he needed to review information to proceed with a lawsuit his company was handling he called from 855-201-9477 & left a callback number of 657-999-4209.

It is against the law to pose as a process server. I am keeping a record of the calls.

Received call from 323-825-5450 a person identifying themselves as jt and associates, dan garrett. Saying I was being served for a debt they allege I owe...through further conversation I learned they were no more than a debt collector who bought a debt that is no longer collectable...I advised this person not to call my number again..he kept talking over me as I advised him three time not to call my number again. He continued to talk over me and I advised him to have a nice day and hung up.

These are tactics used by un savory persons who can't hold down real jobs. Do not give them any information they ask for, do not verify any information they say they have...they are liers and they can use any information you give them against you. EXACT same thing happened to me!  I have now blocked the # on our phone and will continue to not answer #s I don't know.

They call - with a mouth full of marbles - and threaten you.....hang up or dont even take the call.

A woman leaves message asking to speak specifically with me as a point of reference.  I believe it is debt collector related or perhaps something related to a warrant or something.  They call every day or every other day, sometimes twice a day.  I never answer, they never give up.

This man Dan Garrett called and was very rude after I ask him to identify himself and provide a phone number. He was very condescending.

I received the same type of call from a man who identified himself as Dan Garrett. He told me he worked for J. T. and associates. He made several demeaning remarks about my intelligence and one racial remark. He told me he does not speak Ebonics; however, on that part the joke on him is that i am not black. After asking to speak to his supervisor, he told me that he worked for the Secretary of State. I have called J. T. and associates and left a message as well as forwarded this post to them by email. I would love find out who this man is and who he works for. I would fire him on the spot if he worked for me.

I received 3 calls from this number In one day.  The first two calls, no person was there.  The third call they asked for a person that does not live in my home.  I commented to the gentleman that this was the 3rd call in one day and he said that I was lying.  When I said my caller ID says otherwise, he hung up on my.  I called back and the person who answered (sounded the same) said they were a large company looking for who turned out to be my nephew and state that I was listed as a personal reference.  He went on to tell me he was working with the county to issue a warrant, he would give me no other information as to what this had to do with only that my nephew needs to call.  He said they have are not required by law to have a website and there is no way to verify whether this is legitimate.
