I just received an email today, pretty much like everyone elses.  Mine is from Sarah Banks (regarding a craig's list job I applied for months ago).  She is also looking for an assistant for MECCA COSMETICA.  Here is the bottom portion of her email to me:

I got an almost identical email from Lisa Mueller claiming to work for Concord Body Care after I inquired about a job offer posted on craigslist for an administrator/receptionist. They also texted me, it was a different phone # though. 484-784-6114. They asked for personal information,credit card info and bank info. Also asked for my social security #. I did not provide any info other than my name & address because it seemed fishy and then I did some research, found this posting and reported the ad on craigslist. Good luck to anyone looking for employment. Be careful. It is a shame people prey on those who may already be going through a rough time.

Received a call from this number at my work wanting to speak with the person in charge of our Frontier acct. It was some sort of sales call. Told them we were not interested.

I got this exact same email today. I also knew from the beginning that something was off and not quite right. They are preying on people who are desperate for jobs and will do and fall for anything.... Not me!!!
I am disgusted and mad at the fact that they even wasted a couple of hours of my time to write a cover letter!! You have to be a real a***ole to do these scams and an even bigger one to scam unemployed people who are desperate for work who need money coming in to pay bills and just live!!

I feel dumb. I gave her my phone number and address... :( After learning of said scam, I told her that I could not do this job. Blocked her from my phone, and anything that they send me will be given to the police.

From a job post on CL my wife got emails and a text from Lisa Mueller of Savana Hotels and Property for an Admin Office/Personal Asst. it's a complete b***s*** scam, F them.

I received the following second email after Corresponding with the apparent "Lisa Muller" for a receptionist job with Savanna Hotels. I thought something was fishy, because it was odd that I got hired without an interview and I had no idea what this mysterious package was. Not only that... the picture provided was odd, and her picture on her website could not be located anywhere on the internet when I did an image search.  Also no other pics of this "Lisa Muller" came up when I typed her name in image search.  I also, got scared off when he/she talked about meeting up. I felt that this was dangerous that I had no idea who this person was that had my address and other details... especially after I couldn't find any other evidence of her existence. Its just crazy the amount of work these people put into these scams to convince you its true...

Sorry for the misspelling. He said he did not deal with anything illegal. He could not reassure me that this was not a scam.

Christopher Wegman Contacted me regarding the same position. He asked how I would like to get paid. I told him I would prefer a check mailed. He asked me how long it would take for a check to clear my bank. When I asked for reinsurance that this is not a scam he told me that he was a professional business man and did not deal with anything a legal and had a good reputation. When I said I would rather give bank information person he stopped contacting me. Then I found this website... total scam.

Glad I read this he is going by the name Mr.Morgan Gloves.... It seemed weird to me and to good to be true! Glad I researched it first before giving him my information!!! Scam smh he should be prosecuted!

He is a Con. He posts job offers on craigslist and says hes going to send a check. he sends a fake check for a ridiculous ammount, gets you to deposit it and then asks you to send him some money back. Then when the check doesnt clear. you have to pay the bank back for what you sent him. STAY AWAY

I saw the same job on craigslist, applied and then I just got the same text..  I told them to loose my number or I would report them to a major news network investigative team!!!

I RECEIVED THE SAME THING ABOUT 5 MINUTES AGO. I TOLD THE TEXTER TO DELETE MY NUMBER AND I WAS NOT INTERESTED IN HIS SCAM AND IF HE TEXTS ME AGAIN I WILL BE CONTACTING THE POLICE.

Being cautious, I investigated into this number that texted me after responding to a job posting on craigslist in Chicago titled "Temp Receptionist" which has been removed from the ads after contact.  The original responding email address was info@camicazemp.com.  Then received an email from someone named Richard Morgan, email richard.morgan113@outlook.com.  In the context of the email sent, it listed Tom Ford company he was representing & included the website http://www.tomford.com/.  At first I thought it was legit until I received the text to investigate further, only to learn that it was a scam.  I informed the text sender I was reporting the number to federal authorities for false solicitations.  Hope this helps anyone else who encounters this interaction, and that Tom Ford company is aware someone is using their website under false pretenses.  Below is the body of the email I received and hope it cautions others when they see it.

I got one too. It just sounded too good to be true.

This same person certainly played my 18 year old daughter.  He gave information on a  cosmetic company that  is coming into our area and said he needed a personal assistant to help get the office ready.  She was to receive a check for $2800 in the mail since he was traveling and she would receive a list of items to be purchased once it clears and to also take her pay from that amount.  He kept in contact frequently and when she received the "official" check she was to  deposit it and let him know if or how much cleared.  She did this and her bank automatically cleared $300 which he told her the first thing he wanted was a donation to go out to a children's orphanage in a foreign country using a money wiring service -for the $300 amount that was cleared.  She did this then found out the check was fraudulent so her bank charged her the $300 plus bad deposit fees.   My daughter thought she had found a good paying job and was trying to be more pro active in becoming independent .  She never discussed it with us beforehand.  This person and the one who received the money should be shot for what they are doing to naive people!!!  Truly hope the the saying "what goes around, comes around".  People like them are destroying what trust there is out there.  My daughter's account was overdrawn which also cost her more fees.  I hope someone catches this person!
