How is this that I got a call from .I never answer it . But Just want to know.

I keep getting messages at work to call this number, but I keep ignoring it.  I have no idea who this is and I do not know anyone in this area code.  It gets worse.  I came home one day to find a note taped to my door with this phone number and a first name of Louis.  No message, just that phone number and also someone elses name and phone number.  My work number is private and I never give it out because I am never in the building.  I use my cell phone for everything, however they have not called that number.  When they called my work, they new my last name and now they know where I live! This is really freaking me out.

May well be a bill collector, one who uses a "shotgun" approach to find delinquents or anyone who might be related to them. This caller was polite enough, asking if I knew a "C------ or M--- Mc-----" (same last name as mine, but neither a relative nor an acquaintance).

UGH.

Received a cal from this number wanting information.

Yeah I know it!  It's a scam!!!!   They claim that you have defaulted student loans.
