Microsoft does not make calls like that.  The calls are from a scammer.  Hang up on him.  

If the calls are coming to a land line you can get a blocking device.  I forget the name, but its mentioned in several threads in the Forums section of this board.

If the calls are coming to your cell phone contact your provider to see how to block the calls.  Or put the pest in your contacts list and assign them the ring tone "no ring".  That won't stop the calls but it will make them easier to ignore.

now a days.... from this # i got the calls and *are they selling something like windows 7-ultimate and so on....* IS THIS A SCAM ??? IS THERE ANYBODY TO HELP ME OUT WITH THIS FREAKS....????

i gotten this call from an officer by the name of carlos williams with a heavy accent. i think this is a fraud call.

i kept calling them back,and asked if they liked the annoying phone calls......that really gets them rags heads goin

called this number as it was left on my voicemail by a william blake, he called from 282-726-2524.  when i called someone with the indian or Pakistani accent calling himself william smith answered and transfered me, then the phone was answered by another man with the same accent...named carlos williams?? wtf...he said he was sennior to william blake...LOLOL i let him go opn for awhile about how i owed a payday loan and they know i dont intend on paying it back so since i am a great person(again wtf) they will let me settle out of court to avoid charges and going to jail, i told him i was recording the call for legal purposes, he ignored me and asked what i wanted to do. I asked what it would take to settle and he explained he would send me documents to my email, so i could tranfer money to them. I said again i was recording the call and asked if everyone that worked there was named william. he said YES, LOLOL and said this was a serious matter, he has my address, SS # and so forth and that he would call my employer, i asked where he was located, pakistan? using a majic jack maybe? he went crazy and started yelling and i asked if he knew who i work for? he said he didnt care who i work for so i told him the federal government....he screamed i better have a good lawyer and i continued to laugh till he hung up on me...these guys have even called my sister and told her i used her name in reference, she ripped into them worse than me.

The people called and wanted me  to pay back a loan I never got at all.The man said it was deposited to my account.I went to my bank and had a copy of my bank statement and yes there was no deposit there at all for 1500 as I knew there would not be.

They called today saying they were going to sue me for a loan I never received or applied for. The guys name was Mark and he said he was from the Legal Affidavit Department and he said

Called my mobile phone.

THIS SAME COMPANY CONTINUES TO CALL FOR OUR SON ABOUT A 30K DEBT THAT WAS NEVER KNOWN OF. CLAIMING THAT THEY HAVE ALL HIS INFO FOR BANKS AS WELL AS SS# AND LAST EMPLOYER. THIS NEEDS TO STOP!
IVE EVEN POSED AS MY SON AND THEY COULDNT TELL THE DIFFERENCE AND DIDNT KNOW HOW TO ACT WITH ME AND JUST HUNG UP ON ME.
THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS AND WHEN MY HUSBAND ANSWERS THE PHONE THEY HANG UP.
MIDDLE EASTERN ACCENT CLAIMING TO BE A DEBT COLLECTOR AND NOW AN ATTORNEY.
IVE EVEN STATED TO THEM WHILE POSING AS MY SON- "WHAT KIND OF LOAN COMPANY GIVES 30K TO A 19 YEAR OLD WITH NO CREDIT?" THEY TOLD ME IT WAS ON LINE I SAID "I DONT KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND IM NOT CONFIRMING MY SS# TO YOU? SO THEY HUNG UP.

I recieved a phone call from a newyork number first.About a month later I recieved a phone call from 325-261-6049. The packistan accent and all with american names. It was for a payday loan.About a month ago a woman with a packistan accent called and said she was with the government.I recieve disability and she said the gov. was giving me $7000.00 to spend anyway I wanted .The flags went up there.She asked for my debit card no. exp.date and code on back.The account debit card was activated but never used this is the account they said the money was deposited in.I got his no. and said I would call him back.I called the bank they said the account was active but there had never been a transaction to the account.I made him clarify that there had never been a deposit or withdrawl.He said no action at all on the account.I called back to William (whatever) and let him know what I found out.He has not called back yet.

The  caller kept  on harrassing me saying that I owe some money to  a payday loan place which I am not aware of. I called them back and stated that I had an attorney and they started cussing at me. I don't think they will be calling me anymore because I had a couple of words for them as well.

They leave threatening voicemails

i just got call from this number (325) 261 6049 .... saying that I owe them money and i was told that he is the senior atty calling and want me to pay them back for money that i didn't know anything about.

Please help to stop this call .. i just check online and looks like there's a lot of people complaining for the same case.

The caller threatened me and said there was a law suit attacted to my ss#. He asked the last four of my ss# and I hung up.

THIS IS A SCAM!  This is an extortionist ploy to try to get you to send money to pay off a fake payday loan, once they get your number and information they will keep calling you.  I don't answer but they leave voice mails on my cell and my work phone number, they will call references that you may have used on line.  They get the information from hacking into sites that are not protected.  I have gone to police and filed complaints and changed my bank account information.  This has been going on since January for me.  I don't know how to make them stop.  This time the guy that left me a message said his name was Harley Brown, Charlie Brown???  (pakistan accent, threatening messages, and then wish you good luck)  I keep thinking that if I continue to  report their constant name changes, number changes and company changes that maybe some day they will be caught and thrown in jail where they belong!

Please help !!!! I am getting constant phone calls from differant numbers but same Idiot. I'm so sick of answering the phone and it be him. How do I stop them ? They really need to go back where they came from cause their not wanted here.
