I've been getting calls from this number this week on my cellphone.  I have not answered one and they won't leave a voice mail.   Mystery solved.  Thanks :)

They are out and out plain thieves or attempting to be thieves.   The credit agency reporting is a scare tactic which no one can do unless they have your SSN anyway.  They for now have stopped calling me after I had some fun with them and kept them on the phone for a long time pretending to only being able to understand a little bit of English.  I was bored that day I suppose lol!

This exact same thing has been happening to me!!! OMG im so happy i found this because ive been tring to figure out what this is about!

I just received a call from the same source as the countless other people have with the same scenario; acaiberry...$80...June or August don't remember which now. An attempt to collect a debt, my a**. They can kiss it cause they're scammers who aren't getting a penny from me. Get a life losers!!!

I also gat a call from a 321 # in florida , she told me I was going to get reported to all 3 credit reports if I did not give her my information on my visa card . I did so but then got home and pulled up the # on the internet and thank you all for your scam input ! I cancelled my card and will never answer their call again ! How can people live with themselves stealing hard honest earned money from us ? Scum scammers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The same thing happened to me on 12/28/10.  I received a call from a Texas number, and they said that they were trying to collect a debt from a canceled credit card for an acai berry product purchased in Oct. 2009.  I told them I called and canceled that in the allotted time and took care of that, and they said that's not their problem and that they would settle the debt of $80.00 to $60.00 if I paid right then over the phone with my debit card.  I said that I needed proof in writing that this was actually happening and I did not receive any proof from the acai berry company.  They threatened to "report" me to the credit bureaus if I did not pay them over the phone.  I said that I still needed proof in writing that this is an attempt to collect a fraudulent debt and I would pay if they sent me a document saying that I owed them money.  They still refused to send anything and then I was transferred to a manager.  After several minutes of talking to the manager about the same thing, he told me to go to the store and buy a $60 visa gift card and call them back within 3 days because they have "no problem" getting payment that way.  THIS IS A SCAM!!!!  They are trying to get money from you! DON'T Do IT!!!

they called , said they would send the file back to the company when i disputed it and i would have to dispute with each credit agency.  i was so shocked i hung up without getting the supposed disputing company name. when i called back it was a fax .  i would also like to know if anyone has actully seen a dispute show up on their credit report

so what does everyone do with this? does the company claiming to be a collection company actually send the debt to the 3 reporting agencies or do they eventually go away as they are really thieves?

No calls for almost two days.  But it was too good to last :(  Now it's from http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-321-285-2380 They must be spoofing phone numbers.  I've never had any connection with acai berry stuff.  These scammers probably read this thread everyday and LOL at us.  Grrrrr.

They called me 3-4 times a day for a week and final yesterday the calls stopped. This is a horrible thing for these people to do.

For your information she did not take it.  And who are you to judge my parenting job!  If you happen to have perfect teenagers..then good for you, and if ordering acai berry online is the worse thing my daughter ever does then I say im doing a great job!  She learned a valuable life lesson.

And if you do think you have a perfect teenager...you should look alitte closer!!
Something tells me your not a parent, because judging another parent on there parenting skills is just something a GOOD parent would not do

I haven't received a call back from these scam artists since I pushed to get there physical address and phone number. Hopefully they will leave me alone now. I did talk to the Abilene Better Business Bureau yesterday and emailed them all the information I had. So if you have any info on these people let them know.

It's a scam so just ignore it.

Same thing pretty much as above callers. When they threatened me with reporting me to the credit agencies, I told them to go ahead and then asked them if that would stop the calls and they said no!  I asked them how it felt to work for a criminal outfit and told them I was knew the Texas Attorney General and would be reporting them.  They did keep calling from that same fake number so I just stopped answering the call.  Not too smart for crooks but I guess they get some folks unfortunately and at Christmas time to boot!  Number doesn't ring to fax anymore but to an unsetup voicemail so maybe they've moved on to there next scam.

It is 11:10 PM and a call came this number, it rings once and then hangs up, I get at least 4 a day. How do I block this number, I have no Idea who it is.

Same exact story...isn't there a way to report them?? People should be aware of this but are they impossible to track or be stopped??

So now you know what kind of crooks are selling this stuff, did you ever wonder what's in it, or where it really comes from? If your daughter actually ingested it, then a few phone calls are probably the last thing she has to worry about.

Last year my daughter bought herself a $25 prepaid visa card so she could get a "free trial" of acai berry, needless to say they cleaned out that card and tried to get her to pay $80 more.   At 16 years old she believed them when they said 30 days free. When she told me she orderd it we cancled it.  Now the calles are coming again.  He told her she did not cancel correctly and he needed her debit card for payment. She has been asking me for days if we could go to the bank to open up her a debit card.  She has saved $400, thank goodness we didnt go.  She really thought she was in trouble and was going to pay this creep.  I explained to her that this was a scam, and she should never give her debit  card info out.  How do I get the calls to stop.

This 1st popped up on our radar shortly before Christmas.  We believe the people that are actually doing the calling are ?spoofing? this number on caller ID.  They are using 325-455-0018 simply because it is a fax line and not located in Abilene Texas at all.

BBB is interested in what the caller is saying. Have you talked with them?  Recording the conversation would be even better.  We are interested in specific company Acai-berry products were purchased.  Many of these companies offered ?free? trial samples, collected credit card numbers for shipping & handling fees and then enrolled in a subscription service that automatically deducted $40 to $90 per month every month for additional product.  See:

Same here.  I had ordered and then canceled the Acai Berry free trial offer.  Seeing as though I couldn't get ahold of anyone at the company to cancel it, I returned the leftover sample and canceled that credit card.  Since then I have had no contact with them / from them, but have received 2 phone calls from this number since yesterday on my cell phone.  I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer, and they refuse to leave a message.

Received the same thing 12/29/10 when I asked for their phone number she proceded to tell me to F off so i hung up on them.. does anyone know of who to contact for this companY?

I am having the same thing happen to me on 12/27/10. They said they are trying to collect on a denied credit card payment from September of 09 for Acai Berry Pharmacuticals. I told them I had cancelled that in the time alloted and would not pay. They then offered to settle the matter for $60.00 instead of $80.00.  I told them no way would I give them anything. I received another phone call the next day and when I asked for a direct phone number to the person calling and also their physical address he got very defensive. I asked what kind of company would not be willing to give out their address and I wanted it to verify they are who they say they are. He finally gave me a 1-800-235-6799 number with just goes to a voicemail. This has to be a scam

same here he said that he was an investigator and he was trying to collect a debt if it is for the same thing
i never order it. told him good luck and hung up,,i put he on my block list, someone needs to call acai berry
i am going to try and find the number and file a complaint

I also got a call from this number, same thing, very unprofessional, hung up on him.

They called me 2 times today and would not speak.The caller id showed AGENT AMG OVERF.

same sort of problem, I have not spoken to them but I did try to phone them back.  I suspect a scam and have sent an email to the Abilie bbb ( info@abilene.bbb.org )

I was offered to pay only $60 as well.  I declined their offer.
