I never applied for a Pay Day loan, my identity was stolen.

I began receiving e-mails and texts form this company last week claiming I had been approved for a payday loan.  I have been in the IT profession for over 30 years so i do know better not fill any offers out on-line.  However, I did recently have my identity stolen.  The person who stole my identity also stole my cell phone and was ordered to make restitution on it.  Not long after he defaulted on the restitution through the court order I began receiving these spam emails and texts.  I traced the IP address from where the applications were being filled out to the area where the defendant in my identity theft case lives.  I just contacted Del Ray Police and found out the address given is for a UPS store.  PayDay Loans are also illegal in AZ.

That's not true, Mr. Spammer Stooge. These people are criminals, plain and simple

Ninja - you are wrong  - sometimes peoples numbers and identities get stolen and they become vicitms of this type of marketing - I know - it has happened to me

You people had to have signed up for a payday loan to be getting these calls and emails, if you wanted a payday loan thats cool. Just know as in with any and everything else you buy you will be marketed to.

Once this company fraudulently receives your email address, it goes into a database with 568 domain names. Everytime you opt out of one website, you receive another email from another site.

June 8, 2010. Received text message from 13302088690, thanking me for visiting their website (not spe cified) and telling me to call 877-399-7803 to claim my FREE $50 gift card.

Asked me to call 877 7803 for a $250 gift card. Not even going to bother.

I'm also getting text messages from this number to visit www.thecash1.com. That website takes you to 24hoursadayloans.com

But no phone number on the website or their domain name registration.

I keep getting text msg from this phone number for a $140 gift card, I want these falls msgs to stop!! The msg says to call 877 232-5147 and a lady with a middle eastern accent answers. I told her to make sure these msgs stop or I would report them, she hung up on me.

They keep texting my and thanking me for visiting their site.

I'm getting a text from these guys (www.thecash1.com) about loan offers.  How do I make them stop? It's like one every 3 hours.

Me, too. I will ask at Target about this, before even considering calling 1-877-232-5147, to claim the $100.00 free gift card.
