JC Penney card services. I have payments scheduled and they "can see that in their computer" but "unfortunately need me to pay more right now". I have scheduled what I am able to pay. I still get a call from these people every 1-3 hours. Every single day for over a month now. I can't answer the phone because they lecture me. I will not be shopping at JC Penney anymore because of it. They have lost what little business I had to give to them.

This is Jcp. Im paying Friday....I just used my card the first time on wed last week....they on me......I used to be a collector and they are required to call you but they can only leave one message a day....illegal practice can get them in trouble

Received a call this morning from 330-433-5966 number and all the caller ID said it was call from Ohio, but I did not pick up the call.  I sent it straight to voicemail and they never left a message.  Guess it was not important.  I do have CCs but none from JCP.  I've paid all my CCs so, I really don't know if it's a debt collector...

Started on 3/1/2014.  Calls are coming to my cell every 2 hours.  Needs to stop.  Blacklisted the number so at least the phone does not ring.  When answered its a recording to hold for a very important message

Its commodity collections for JC Penny's credit cards.

Comes up in caller ID as "GE CAPITAL" and has called several times a day for the last few days. I have never had a JC Penny anything! Blocked the number through Comcast...

This number calls me over 30 times a day and states it is jcp or this further educational line.

I keep getting calls with no name who claim they are calling for J C Pennys
I keep asking J C Pennys why the people who call have no name on their I D...?
and I recorded the conversation with J C Pennys ..which they did not want to be recorded...but why then am I being harrassed?
I send a payment of $60 a month and I will catch up when I can....

They're calling my shop and hanging up at least 3-4 times a day. Can't even explain to them they've got a wrong number, I've never had a JC Penny card and I don't have any debts.

Called us at 8:08 on a Saturday morning.  No caller ID info.  Left no message.

This number is GE Money calling for JCPenney. They consistly harass people about payments, even when the payment isn't late. I make regular payments and always pay more than the minimum due but I still get the phone calls. I get messages left on both my cell and my home phone. I now recognize most of the numbers they call from and I just ignore them. I am trying to pay off the account so I can close it.

Keep getting calls from these numbers, I don't have a Jcp credit card, and haven't for over ten years...they call several times a day. I've tried calling back and never get a answer they say to call back within given hours..I work second shift so never get to call. They need to stop calling, it's pissing me off

As I read several posts I agree with most of you guys.  Leave a damn message!!  I also don't answer calls I don't know.  And my payments not due till the 17th of aug!  It's the first!  I pay my lousy $30 a month and this is the second time this has happened to me except jcpenney would constantly call me at the weirdest hrs!  People work!  Can't answer personal calls!  And they didn't leave a message till like the 6th missed called.  Said something regarding my acct blah blah blah to call or check online so I did.  Everything was fine.  And they do call late!  Almost 10pm!  The lady told me I owed them money of $450 so and I said that was impossible since I rarely shop there anymore!  And than she rechecked and apologized and said that I did not owe them money and she was looking at the wrong balance. That was how much credit I had available!  But this is the first time I got a call from Ohio!  Not even gonna bother picking up.  I'm going to close my acct ASAP....I just like to use it at sephora lol!  Is it like this with other credit cards companies?

4 calls in the past hour, no  message. Calls daily, sometimes leaves a message (J C Penny). I don't even have a card, nor am I aware of a store near me.

I keep getting calls from them. I don't answer phone numbers I don't know. You would think that if a person doesn't answer a call, then the party calling would quit harrassing the public. The phone calls keep coming in and still I don't answer. They never leave a message. I am to the point of paying everything by check or cash. They are irritating me with their phone calls. I even set my cell phone to receive only phone calls from my contacts. All other calls go directly to my voice mail and if I want to call them back, I will, otherwise. I delete the message. They need to be horse-whipped because their ignorance.

I just received another call from these asshats, 30 a day I decided to answer it. I had a ball knocking the callers D@#k in the dirt. He reminded me it was being recorded. I said good and went off about 30 fricken calls a day and I am not late on my JCP bill. He kept trying to get personal Information from me. Good Luck pal. I told him that 30 calls a day was harrasment and I am tired of it. I am not late I pay on time and if they keep it up my Lawyer will be calling them.  Either way my Lawyer will be calling and has been notified and has records of this harrasment. This is the reason JCP is dying s****y Senior Managemet and screwed up credit providers, not to mention the stores are run down old and smell like the s*** they peddle.
