Bob Jones......cops for kids....does not know what the word UNEMPLOYED means. and HAVE NO MONEY means.....call every week......I am I being harrased by the POLICE???????

Called several times.  No message left.

The call came in and they didnt leave a voice mail. The caller ID said State of Ohio. So definately called back, and all I got was a lame voice mail with a girls voice asking me to leave my name and number. I did, they have not called back. Their voice mail ended with "take care and God bless you" Doesnt sound like the state of ohio to me.

This is a scam, not the Police, was Teddy Bears for something, number comes back to a Donesha Hill, 19th St., Canton, OH.  THIS IS A SCAM.

Answered phone on May 7th 2010 at 8:38pm EST in Canton, OH and heard what sounded like a crowd of people or a gathering perhaps... Used *69 and called the number back... Asked to leave my name, number and reason for calling which I did. The answering message was the voice of a young woman and at the end she said "God Bless" Interestingly enough, I was reading the holy bible at the exact time of the call... I also received a call from 419-476-0115 on May 6th 2010 at 6:30pm which sounded the same... I wasn't able to call that number back because it was long distance... Is anyone else who is receiving these calls a Christian? Does anyone else have a new phone number as I do? Is there some connection between those of us receiving these calls?

Just got a call moments ago. If that is indeed the address, it's near the old humane society on Ninth Street... which is also near Crystal Park. Not a good neighborhood.

Called today 5/3/2010, checked the info, does come back to the above listed name and address in Canton, OH.  I have taken the liberty to call it back and will continue to do so at all hours of the evening.

What doesn't someone from the State of Ohio stop this scam?  I just got a call last night and it sounds like it's been going on for quite a while.

Very unprofessional male asking for donation for Teddy....Said he had a deal for me today, after I said couldn't donate. Said he had a deal for 7.50 donation. When I asked how much of that actually went for the kids, he said for sure all but about 50 cents. He didn't sound convincing. Told me I spoke Chinese, was a female and said my address. I'm glad I did reverse look up and saw this was a scam. I had already called back and told them I wasn't going to be able to donate if I didn't hear back from him.   Will be calling authorities on Monday, because when it stays State of Ohio, I think someone should be looking into it.

Called at 5:48 pm on a Friday. Caller ID said State of Ohio. No one answered when I picked up the phone, I tried calling the number back and got a busy signal.

"state of Ohio" on caller ID, person tried to  identified me by last name although it was not exactly my last name. Message about verifing address to send out info about teddy bears for kids in crisis , referenced local police departments as giving them to kids in need. . Aburptly hung up on me when I mentioned my daughter contributes through her school. I had seen this number on my caller ID in the past but was unsure what it related to. Seems to be a form of solicitation or scam, either way nothing but rude.

got a phone call, no one on the other end of the phone said state of ohio

got a call from this number.  Number came up on cell phone as I live in Ohio.  I tried to answer and nobody said anything then the line went dead....when I called it back, got a ladies voice saying to please leave a message.  very frustrating and annoying to get these calls.

Just got call from this number.......kept saying hello.......nobody would answer then someone made a noise in my ear then hu........caller id sayed state of ohio

multiple calls and hang ups, whe you call back a young woman gives a message to leave your name and number then the computer voice says the line is not set up to accept messages.

will be reporting this call to states attorney general office first thing in morning i just received hang up call as well. everyone else should do same thing as well enough people report it they have to investigate it.  called number back and got an answering machine with a message to leave a message then a recording saying this person could not receive messages right now

Got a call at 8:51pm and the caller ID said "State Of Ohio". Answered and after a delay a male called me by my wife's maiden name. On telling him that was not my name he hung up the phone. Obviously not connected with the State of Ohio, but got no pitch, so checked here. Thank you all for your information! I won't bother to answer next time.

Got this call few minutes ago and no one answered when I picked up.  Glad to hear it is a scam!

called when i wasn't home at 7:38 p.m. with a caller id = "state of ohio".  who from the state of ohio would call me that late.  no message left.  google search says donesha hill in canton ohio.  scammer no doubt.  thanks to all other posters here!

A male called and asked for a Mr. Balavoki and then when I said they weren't here they simply hung up. Caller ID read it was from the State of Ohio but if you do a phone number reverse search it comes back to
Donesha J Hill. This is for sure a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stupid Scammers!

I answered the phone. There was a short silence and then the call disconnected. The auto-dialer got too far ahead of the telemarketer?

guy said he was with the "teddy bears for kids" and want to send me my contribution envelope. didn't even ask if i want to contribute. i said i am going to pass and he didn't even say goodby, just hung up.
