Same as all the other posts...Call from Wells Fargo about my debit card.  I don't even have a Wells Fargo account... either they got the wrong number or it's a scam.

Same as the above at 5:49 A.M. - and I do not have a Wells Fargo account, and don't believe there are any in my area!

Similar occasion as others. Called me up at 6AM with a robocall saying my credit card had been suspended, and to remedy the situation to press 1. Between being confused at why they would call at such an odd hour, and thinking about the possible reasons my card would be suspended, I seemed to run out of response time and the call disconnected.

I was tired and figured, "hey, if my card was suspended it's probably because of some fraudulent charges, and I certainly didn't make any of those, so suspending it is a good thing to prevent further unauthorized charges. Thanks!" Come morning, in the course of finding out what that was all about, I googled the number which brought me here.

So thanks folks. You may not have saved me from a scam (foggy headedness did that much), but you did save me from an hour on the phone. =)

I got a call at 3:15am, to my cell phone! I am on the do not call list, it doesn't do any good for these type of scam calls. We have a friend in the hospital who is not doing very well, so this call really scared me.
This is the second time I have received a call from this number. It's very frustrating that nothing can be down about calls like these.

Same story as others. Automated voice said my Wells Fargo debit card was suspended, and to press "1" to reactivate it. I have never done business with Wells Fargo and hung up immediately. Scammers are also using e-mail messages claiming to be Wells Fargo. Given the way they assume how gullible we are, they could be politicians.

Received a :missed" call on cell phone---looked up number on Internet and then tried calling back--received message "Your call has been completed however the party at this number is not receiving calls"---very suspicious.

Received a call from this number at 5:00AM, an automated message saying they are Wells Fargo and they regret to tell me that my card... I hung up because I don't use Wells Fargo. Thought I'd call Wells Fargo to complain, but found online that this number may not even be them.

My cell phone received a call from this number at 2:15 a.m.!  Fortunately, I didn't hear it.  Strange!

recording clamed to be from wellsfargo ang my card was deactivated,, to reacetvate card press 1,,, then  they wanted 3 peaces of important  information to reactivate card.... I hung up

these people keep calling my cell phone!!!  telling me my account is in some sort of trouble

One in India, Pakistan or Nigeria.  After all, if you were dumb enough that you didn't know it was a scam, you'd freak out, and puch # whatever to stop them!  Obviously, they're not a legitimate company, but the same old scammers.

What I failed to add was that a 2nd call came through 3 hours later with the 330-591-9077 number and the same Wells Fargo message.  When I called it back, it said it was a non-working number.

I received a call this morning from an unknown number with a message from Wells Fargo that my card had been deactivated and I needed to press 2 to recactivate it.  I don't even belong to Wells Fargo, so I immediately knew that it was an attempt to steal my identity.  I just feel bad for some people that may be more gullable and fall for it.

I got the call today on my cell, 330-591-9077, claiming to be Wells Fargo, something about a debit card, asked for the last four digits of my SS#.  Be very careful!!!

Gotta call from 330-591-9077, I didn't answer it because I don't know anyone with that number.  Went and looked it up and  low and behold its a scam number.  I don't bank with Wells Fargo either.

4:40 am, I got a phone call from this number. It was saying from Wells Fargo automated system. I do not have an account with Wells Fargo. I did not listen to the rest.

Also got a call at 3:00am from this number. Heard on the news and its scam!!!

Woke me up, scared me half to death.  I don't bank with Wells Fargo.

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone. Didn't answer it as I didn't recognize the number. No message, annoying!

call at 1:34 a.m. automatic voice dialer stating the call was from Wells Fargo and that my account needed to be "verified."  I have new cell number and had spoken with Wells Fargo that day about my account.

3:30am, no message left

No message just silence

I have also received a call from this number....twice now.

I got a call from this number at 2:37 in the freakin morning!! No message left. Who do they think they are calling at that time of the morning?

Recording claims to be from Wells Fargo, saying that there is something wrong with my debit card. Then I was directed to press 1 to give information. I immediately hung up. Gotta be a scam, I don't have an account with Wells Fargo.

They just called me too, same deal as for the rest of you. My "account" at Wells Fargo is in jeopardy at 4 am yesterday and at 1;20 am today. My account is suspended,  press one etc. These frauds rouse you out of a fast sleep so that you will be muddled into pressing a key and giving them info.  Hate 'em, may they rot in hell, they are ruining my sleep!

same number. same scam. same fake wells fargo company.  woke me up twice in the early hours.
