I do not believe a legitmate company would call from a zillion different numbers, all of them spoofed, and not identify themselves in the caller ID. I am perhaps paranoid by now, but I think it is some sort of scam by junk debt collectors trying to skip trace your information, ie address, name, etc.  Same old rule applies -- DO NOT even pick up, let your number be a complete mystery to them, whether or not it is an active phone number and whether it is *your* active phone number. Picking up only helps them.

Just got a call from this number and didn't answer.  Every day while I'm at work, I get phone calls from random states and never answer.  I found out from this 800notes.com website that most of them have been reported as telemarketing calls.  I've been on the Do Not Call list for years, and re-register from time to time just to make sure I'm still on it.  I just verified my registration this morning, and it says that the last time I re-registered to be on the list was 3/3/11 and that most people are required to stop calling me 31 days from this date.  I have no idea why these people are still calling me, but it is getting really annoying.  What's the point of being on a Do Not Call list if telemarketers don't give a crap about it?

no ACTION is taken that's why. the state offices where you report them (mostly in AZ or NV) are bankrupt and have closed those offices. there is no money to hire personnel to follow up with you...no money to hire people to follow up on th crime....no money to arrest these people. the do not call list is a complete joke with the gov.

Got a call from this number.  It is a sales call disguised as not being a sales call.  It begins by saying "Please do not hang up, this is not a sales call."  So I hit "1" to speak to someone about getting a free security system installed and spoke to a person who congratulated me.
When I asked him why he's calling me when I am on the "do not call" list and this is a sales call, and pointed out that the robo call lied to me, he said that it wasn't a sales call because they are offering a free security system and install.  I asked him if I ever have to pay for the system, he said no.  I asked him if I have to pay for monitoring and he said "yes, but the system and installation is free."  I asked him what good an alarm system is that isn't monitored and he said that it would still go off and make noise.  I told him to take me off the list and never contact me again.
Hey, that's great.  It appears the scumbag telemarketers have found a way to avoid the legal consequences of violating the national do not call registry.
If I hear back again, I'll report them for the violation. In the meantime, I'm reporting the number as a violation of the do not call registry.  Whether they like it or not, it is still a solicitation.

If the FCC does not know about them, they can't fine them (the best revenge is a fine from the govenment that goes into the tens of thousands of dollars).  Remember:  report them and forward this the FCC address to other call forums.  It takes about two minutes to fill out, costs you nothing, and puts the robocallers on the govt. radar.

I can relate to everyone on here.  I'm on the DNC list and this company has called me from two different numbers (330-789-5231 and 510-336-2356).  It's aggrevating!!!  I'm not interested in their promotion of home alarm systems!  I just want them to stop calling me, and using up my cell phone minutes!  Ugh!

Ignore calls from this number, recording advertising home security systems. I was unable to disconnect for about a minute after answering.

Same thing happened to me... I'm calling my carrier to block the #.

Report them to the FCC. The only way to get them to stop is if enough of us report them to the government.

Picked up the phone one time with this telemarketing co selling home security and now they call twice a day spoofing a different # each time. Got the new phone on the way that will filter all these calls untill then this is the most frustrating thing. DNC complaint complaint every day..
