I just received a call stating I filled out an online survey to which I answered no.  The caller then went on to state that there was a free job assistance program that I needed to answer a few questions to see if I qualified.  The first question was "Are you at least 18 years of age?", my response was yes.  Next was are you or you spouse a member of the military.  I stated that I was a Veteran.  The next question I told them I refused to answer.  He wanted my completed date of birth!  Month, date, and year in which I told him that I already stated that I was at least 18 years of age and would NOT provide that information.  The phone went dead after that.

Today is 3-1-2013 and the past two days this number called my cell once at 9:30am and the next day at 10:00am. I don't answer if I don't recognize the number. I've now blocked this number. From what I've read on other websites, this is a PHONE SCAM. You should never give out your personal information. This is just another criminal trying to make others victims of identity theft. BEWARE.

Same exact thing happened to me

I just received a call on my cell from this number today (3-1-13).  Luckily I was in another room and didn't get to it.  That's why I looked it up online to see who it might be.  It said unlisted number in Louisville Ohio.  I don't return calls when I don't recognize the number and no message was left.  Thank you for this post.  I will be careful.  The YouTube posted taught me someting too.  I didn't know that a potential employer could not ask for your birthdate or citizenship status over the phone.  THANK YOU for you help!

This is a phone scam. My advice would be to warn your family and friends. You should never give out your personal information over the phone. I've blocked this number from my phone.

Received call today.  I greeted with "hello" twice, then heard a beep and a computer voice say "goodbye".  My phone is on the national do not call list, so the organization doing this calling obviously does not respect that list.  Waste of my time.

Called my cell phone claiming that they were responding to an online survey I completed. I don't give out my cell phone # and I didn't fill out any online surveys.  I politely asked to be removed from the list and the caller was a gentleman who wished me a good day.

I constantly get calls, about every two weeks. I only answered once and was asked if I want to attend college, I replied that I already do and the Asian women who called hung up. How do I get them to STOP calling me?!?

Received a call from a guy who stated that I filled out a survey online and that I was interested in a job search. I replied, "No I have a job." He hung up.

Got a call on my cell phone today but let it go to voice mail and of course they didn't leave a message. I figured it was spam

This number is for WN Positions, a Job Placement Service if you call them back and listen to their recorded message.  Called me 2/21/2013 at 7pm.  Searching this number indicates they are in Louisville, Ohio.

Received a call from this number from a gentlman who said I filled out an application on line. He said he was with HM i think. He wouldn't repeat it when I asked again who? He asked to verify info to see if I qualify for their free job placement assistance. I said I didn't want to sign up for any service but he continued and he did have my information. He asked if I would go back to school if there was tuition assistance given and other questions of that sort. I repeatedly said no to questions about getting training/school tuition and the like and he hung up

Got all call. No one at other end.

Received a call this afternoon on my cell from a guy who said I had filled out some surveys on line (no I haven't) and added "you're still looking for a job, correct?"  When I responded "no, that's not correct," he promptly hung up.

Sounds like some would-be scam to me.
