I got the same message and did the same research. So glad I found this site. Thank you all for the information because I was really bothered by it and wondered if someone was stalking me or whatever.  What a horrible business tactic.  If enough people reported them to the police or BBB maybe it would make a difference.

this james guy is creepy I've done my own research and all of the sites i have went to don't say james or anything about the number he gave us all i want to know is how did and get my address and was this hand delivered

Got the same yellow notebook paper written in red ink here in Stow.
Funny thing , it was addressed to my wife and it's my name on the deed. Would love to "meet" this idiot.

We received the same here, and I have a post office delivery, which isn't easily searchable.  Will someone explain?

Same story - looks like it was hand delivered, the envelope wasn't sealed and the stamp was not processed through the post office.  Freaked me out too.

I got the same letter in the mail today. I thought it was weird too so I'm glad I saw all your comments. I also did my own research and found out that the return address label on the back of the envelope was to a company called PCA. There is a James that serves on the board of directors. So if this company was actually Liberty Leasing, then they could get in a lot of trouble using a fake name that this guy probably knows nothing about and a fake address. If it was legit, wouldn't they just put their own address on the return label?  I almost feel like reporting them to the police, but not sure how far that would go.

I got the same exact letter on yellow paper. The address is a building with multiple businesses in it, one of which is an investment firm, a corrugated paper plant, and others...The letter seems to be same thing as those signs posted by the side of the road which say " will pay cash for your home" type thing. Just another form of trying to cheat people out of the home they worked all of their life for!

Got the same letter in Springfield.

We received the exact same piece of mail that you have all mentioned, and we were creeped out by it.  I called it this morning, and was told it was "Liberty Leasing" - it's a sales/advertising technique, but it is an unprofessional , creepy way to do business!! I told the receptionist who answered as much, and we reported them to the BBB in Akron!  I checked out the website that Matt posted above, and you'll notice there are NO names anywhere on it to identify who the "James" person is.  The receptionist did not give me his full name either.

I just received the same letter here in massillon. I called it is some investment company asking if your interested in selling your. What a joke

I got the same thing today!  James no last name would like to $buy$ my house.  Red felt pen on yellow notebook paper.  The scary thing is, I don't live too far from the Killian Rd address on the return label.  Does anyone know anything about this?
