Got a call from 311-000-0000. Pushed 9 after the pre recorded "your credit card account" fraudulent statement and spoke to a person who spoke a broken English. I told him I wanted to speak to him about the misleading and fraudulent message and he went off on me with no holds barred profanity. He said he wanted to fight me and offered a address. He became really angry when I said I was going to report him and he said that there was nothing anyone could do to them. I hope there is a way these people can be prosecuted. Thanks.

Keep getting calls from this number.  Very broken English (obviously a foreign caller) trying to convince me that they are calling from our long distance carrier about how we should get 35% off our new phone service.  We don't have AT&T.  I told them we were not interested and asked them to take us off their list.  They just got more rude at that point.  They continue to call - just got another one.

These folks have been calling my cell phone for 2 years. They recently funneled a call into Debt Enrollment Services in Anaheim.  More postings when 331's actual identity becmes known, but their call center is likely in India, based on accents. Yesterday they called from "Capitol One Debt Solutions."

We have recently moved into a new house and have been receiving phone calls from this 331 number. We ignored it for awhile, but I finally got fed up and answered it today. It was a man with a middle eastern accent telling me that I won $5000 from the federal government simply because I pay my taxes and I have no criminal record. He mentioned the govt picks 200 people and I could receive the money as quick as today. I went along with his questions to see if he'd ask for personal information. I ended up saying to him, "So, I'm assuming you want my credit card number?" and then he quit talking. People-please watch out for these ridiculous phone scams. They are absurd.

+331 - i have received over a dozen calls from this number in the past few days.  I finally answered it and a man from, what I assume to be India, began to ask me some seriously private financial questions.  I asked him for his number to call him back and he refused to give it to me.  He asked me why I wanted his number, and I told him because I thought it was an illegal scam with a number routing to the US from overseas.  He hung up immediately. I haven't received another call from the number again...yet (knock on wood).

I just got a call from a 331 number and the lady asked for me by name I said who is this and she didn't answer she just hung up. Probably a scam so I set the number to go directly to voicemail and therefor I will never deal with them again...maybe they'll be brave and leave me a message?

Just got a call from 331 about 1 min. ago. It was a guy who sounded like he was from India who said he was calling from the "credit department of your bank." I started to say "excuse me, excuse me" so I could tell them to do-not-call list me, and he just hung up.

got a call from them today... stating that they were calling from a telus authorized provider... telling me they want to give me a free smartphone... Thats weird i just got a new phone less than a month ago.

I missed a call from this number a few weeks ago. Tried to call it back and couldn't. Got a call this morning. Answered it, it was dead air for a few seconds and then a man with a heavy accent told me he was offering free telus phones with amazing plans. (I am a telus customer) all for free just pay shipping and handling on the phones. I said no thank you and he kept telling me it was a good offer and I should take it. I said no thank you a few more times and finally just hung up on him.

The above 333 is their areacode, and the 5554444 represents the phone number of the >>>NON<<< Emergency line to your police (or cellular company or a disconnected/invalid number, even better if you can find a SIT Special Information Tone number : the one that sounds like "dee-doo-daah   dee-doo-daah).

Now, if the suspicious number rings your line, just press HANGUP on your cell. The call will then be transferred with their caller ID and # intact (if any). If they find it too annoying then they can investigate.

If you miss any calls while your away from your phone the caller will ring, ring, ring, ring through to your VMail (even these b*****ds above).

The Forward if Busy is an OnDemand function.

If the  * code for your carrier is different then ask them what it is.

TO CANCEL / RETURN TO NORMAL
Try changing the area code and phone number back to your regular voicemail access number (or ask your carrier what the * code is to cancel FwdifBusy).

Get a little satisfaction in knowing they are going to be bugging the WRONG people.

I just got a call from the number 331 also. first time i got the call about a week ago, i didnt pick up cuz the number looked strange. ive never seen a 3 digit number b4. then they Just called me. literally 5 mins ago. i picked up, and it was just air.. i said hello 3 times and nothing. then there was a beep and it disconnected. i thought this was really strange so i came online to find out what it is.. this really makes no sense. i thought it was maybe someone blocking their number, but now i see all of you have the same thing happening. its really weird.

I received a call from this number before but missed the call as I was away from my cell. Today I got a call again and picked it up, said hello, but after 5 seconds or so, heard a beeping sound, to which the line disconnected.

I think it would be helpful if we stated our service provider to see if we discover anything, as it appears from many of the posts here that they're Canadian.

A gentleman of heavy Middle Eastern accent claimed to be with Telus Mobility and asked me if I wanted to change some too good to be true plan. I said no thanks, and now calls have gone up to more than a dozen all day. Watch yourself.

someone with the phone number simply 331 has phoned me yesterday and today again! i'm still in school so i don't have my phone on so i don't know what they want, i text mesaged them but they did not reply instead they phone again today! so if they try again and get ahold of me i will tell them if they don't stop that i will report them

just got a call from them saying they were with the international credit department.(bs) I'm barely old enough for one so i just hung up. It was the first call i recieved so far.

ok, i have been getting a call from this number every couple of weeks and refuse to answer.  tried to call it back and get nothing so there is no way to remove your cell from them dialing it.

They called saying they randomly selected a few Bell numbers to make an offer to. The first guy said it gave you 300 daytime minutes, free texting, free evenings and weekends 7pm-8am, and free voicemail and caller display and whatnot for $27 a month, and there was no contract. That didn't seem too bad and I thought the caller ID was 311 (similar to bell's 611) so I ended up giving him my credit card #. He passed me up to his boss to verify the info, and his boss told me there was a 2 year contract and 100 daytime minutes. I asked how much they charge for extra daytime minutes, and he said it didn't matter if I went over they would only charge me 27 bucks. And that realy doesnt make any sense. He said someone would call me back and I asked him to give me half an hour so I could talk to my fiance. Instead they call back 5 seconds later. I've gotten like 20 calls just today.

So I'm fairly certain it's a scam, and I've already notified the credit card company. If you get a call from these people just say "no thanks" and hang up, save yourself the hassel.

This guy called me and I hung up.  I received a call right after this and the caller id said "witheld".  This guy with a Middle eastern accent told me that the government was handing out money and that I had been selected based on my address.  Since the address that I am living at is in a completely different state than my permanent  address is I knew it was a scam.  I said that that wasn't my permanent address so I knew that they were phonies and that made the man very unhappy.  I got caught up in a magazine scam that was withdrawing money from my checking account (40 dollars a month for magazine subscriptions that I never ordered).  They have been calling me from several different numbers and with several different reasons for needing my personal information.  Watch out for these slime bags!  They are relentless!  If anybody has had trouble with this or has gotten caught up in a scam with these people, contact the office of your Attorny General.  They want to know about these scams and will take care of it for you!

We moved our business a few weeks back and had to get a new phone number. Now we cannot get this 331 number to stop calling us. It was upwards of 20 calls yesterday. Every time they call they have a different spiel. They told the owner his phone number, my mom they tried to sell a computer to and I don't give them long enough to start their sale before I hang up.

Is it rude to blow a safety whistle at them from now on?

Sometimes the phone just rings a few times after announcing (I use voice notification) caller ID 331.  Other times, it rings more times, I pick it up and it is some obviously overseas speaker (Asian) hawking prescription meds.  Once they identified themselves as calling from "US Pharmacy".

I too was receiving calls with the callback number of 331.  Everytime I answered the phone they hung up. The call came in starting dec. 1 - dec. 5 every morning between 9 am and 9:30 am.  I have no idea who this is. Someone told me it was a code callback number.

I recently had a phone number change 2 days ago, and tonight about 15 min ago, the number 331 on my cell showed up, I answer and a lady (obviously from another country with very broken english) said that I had requested info on furthering my education and was wanting to provide me with info on how to do that. I asked if they were a telemarketing service and they just repeated themself in a more rude tone. This was insane, I called my TMobile customer support and they have never heard of 331 but did say they have heard of the number 10. Anyways it seems that its just number sent out by an automated calling system...but none the less its rather F****** rediculous.

It just happened to me. it rang. i opened it so it won't ring again but they called me again.  
I don't know what it is all about But I didn't order any colon stuff either. I just recently bought from TV some knives from Rimco.    I got burned on some white teeth I tried and I couldn't find them on the web so I got the phone number off my bank statement. called and they put the wrong numer in there to contact them with. Got a bill from some collection agent and I called them and tried to tell them what happened and the man was VERY RUDE AND CALLED ME A LYER SAID NONE OF THE OTHERS SAID THAT.  What happened to me happened to me doesn't make me a lyer. I told the truth. THEY hound you DON'T TRY ANY TRIAL WHITE TEETH STUFF, DOESN'T WORK AND NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE.  ... b

I received a phone call where only 3 digits appeared on the caller ID.  They were 331.  I tried to call back, it rang once and then dead air.  I had something similar happen with another number out of Hackensack, NJ.  It was for "Colon Cleanse".  They harassed me, got upset when they couldn't understand me, because the person who called first barely spoke English.  My last name is Spanish, because my husband is Spanish, I am not, so they must have assumed I didn't speak English, which is an awful assumption to make about anyone.  Anyway, I had to get ugly to finally get them to stop calling me.  I have never inquired anywhere at any time about colon cleanse, but they swore up and down that I had, but couldn't tell me where or when I had made the inquiry and were extremely rude.  I am wondering if this is something similar.
