You must be an illiterate to generalize statement. The biggest fraudsters are from the west, but that does not mean that every body from there are criminals. Think before you make statements.

This is an African scam to get you to call back.
Now they call and hang up before you have a chance to answer with the hope that you will see a missed call and call back.

They like to call in cities (Europe) or areas which have area codes similar to their country code. Then when you call them back, you get hit with a HUGE call charge for hundreds of dollars.

Stupid Africans cannot think of a legitimate industry to make money besides stealing.

I got a call from this same number, is from Guadalajara, Mexico, asking for information about my family, is typical for them to collect information and then call you later asking for money, I wont answer anymore to this number.

This person told me that he was my nephew coming to visit me but on his way to my house he had an accident, he ask me to deposit money by western union thank God I didn't do it.

Y él, muy astuto, decía "ah, así que sólo conoces a los XXX?" Y yo supuse que sabía el apellido porque vino con el número de dónde sea que lo agarraron. Y luego nos devolvió la llamada y yo contesté y le hablé. Yo le preguntaba quién y yo dije un nombre y el dijo "sí, ése soy yo." Pero luego luego llamamos a su supuesta hermana (mi hermana) y me dijo que que el que él suponía ser no era cierto.Así que volveremos a contestar la llamada como sabemos que es un ESTAFADOR.

I got 2 calls from +331 030 6166. The voice said it is a cousin from Spain, travelling to North America. He wanted me to pick him up in the airport next day. The thing is that I have NO family in Spain. It looks like he was starting a plot in order to ask for money. I don't answer the phone when I see the number.

My mother received a call from a friend with a number she recognized. The friend said something about being in an accident in Mexico and needed money to pay the police so that he could return to the U.S. She later received several more calls from this number and 554-996-0834.  she sent a small amount and received more calls asking for more.  everytime her friend would pass the phone would say the police wants to talk to you.  we were unable to call the friend back on his phone.
