A mi me llamarón hace unas horas pero conmigo llegaron mas lejos, a mi me dijeron que tienen a mi papá secuestrado y lo van a torturar, ( mi papá murió hace 10 meses) hay que tener cuidado.

Caller called me by my first name. Telling me I was favorite cousin. Said he was going to pass thru town and wanted to visit me. I asked for his wife by a wrong name and he told me she was fine. I knew it was a scam. I told him to call his other cousin and asked me for his number when I told him he should know it as they spoke to him once a week, he hung up. Of course I had a good laugh.
All this was in spanish. He told me he had bought land in Natalia.

Hoy  mi mama recibio una llamada disiendo  ke  era su sobrino y  ke benia  abisitarnos que en 2 horas yegaba. Despues nos pusimos a investigar y encontre malos comentari haseca de el area331 ,intentamos regresar la llamada y no contestaron despues de 5 minutos llamaron otraves disiendo ke tubo un accidente y ke lo ayudara a pagar lo del accidente y le iba a pasar a una  pesona para corroborar la informasion ,luego le colgo mi mama  y regresaron la llamada y contest mi Hermana y le pregunto kien era ,y dijo ke era el sobrino pero dio el apellido equibocado mi Hermana le dijo ke dejara de molestar porke ya sabia ke era un estafador  y ke el policia ya estaba investigado y colgo .

i got a call from 331-080-3167 saying we were related and asking for one name and then another name, saying  he was our nephew. he said he's calling from the vasquez family. when i said which vasquez family, he hung up. he just likes to be annoying, don't pay attention to him.

he said his name was JUAN CARLOS

called saying he was my cousin he even called me "prima" then i passed the phone to my dad and said he was a son of maria's which my dad didnt recognize, he insisted he was my dad's nephew. he said he was gonna pass by, he even knew where we lived. he said he was from Districto federal in mexico. my dad told him he wasnt gonna help him in anything and at that point the person started telling my dad vulgar words and then my dad hung up. DONT GIVE THIS PERSON ANY INFORMATION EVEN NAMES. dont! they use any kind of name or place to their advantage!

This is the second we receive a call like this in the past 3 weeks but this time it was from this number. The first time they said he was my dad's nephew but would not give a name. My sister asked if he was a specific cousin and he obviously said yes and went along with it. He talked to my mom saying he was in the los angeles area and wanted to come over. Theyh asked for out adress and said they would be there soon. They called again today saying they we from one side of the family, and my mom told them off and they hung up. Be very carefull and don't give any information. Continue to insist for a name or ask for very specific details.

My parents go this call too. He says he is our favorite cousin but wont give a name.

Hang up and don't give this guy the time.

ATENCION!!! mucho cuidado un hombre llamo haciendo se pasar por un familiar diciendo que nos iba a visitar al día siguiente, al siguiente día llamo diciendo que estaba por llegar, a los 40 min llama diciendo que tuvo un accidente que atropello a una niña y que necesitaba que le prestáramos $ 900 dls. Es fraude no crean esto aseguren se de que en realidad si sea su familiar cuidado FRAUDE!!!

My wife got a call yesterday from a 331 area code number.  She had just attended a funeral in LA for an elderly aunt.  The caller said he'd been in an accident & said her nephew had run into him on the freeway somewhere in san diego, that his little girl was hurt, and the nephew felt bad, was crying and had settled for $1500, but had no money or insurance.  He insisted that we had to wire the money to some place in  Chapala, MX.  They had already tried to geet my mother in law to wire money, but she's elderly and can't move much.  My wife asked to talk to her "nephew" and asked him what his mother's name was.  He just "wept" bc "his mom had just died", which he got wrong, bc it was the nephew's grandmother, and not his mother, who died.  They had all the names right, butslipped on that detail. All communications had been in Spanish. My wife passed me the phone, and I asked him, in English, to tell me what happened.  He just went on weeping and then hung up.  Clearly, the guy didn't speak English. But, the real nephew, along with all the LA relatives, speak mainly English, as do the SF, Oakland, Seattle, and Chicago relatives  So... Be very careful if u get a call from Mexican relatives

We received the same call yesterday and today, we aware he is asking to come to our house also.

They called in Spanish saying they were my nephew. Asking if they could come to my house. The last name was wrong as well as with the first account Felipe. Be careful and don't tell them anything. Obviously they are up to some shady business.

I received a call asking for my husband, he gave me his first last name but the wrong second lastname. So I new it was not a person I know and hang up. Be aware!!!
