I just got a call from this number with the same scam. The freeky part is that the guy identified himself with the name of a real cousin of mine. Then he also mentioned the real names of his brother, sister, another cousin and an uncle of ours.  How did these scum bags get the real names of my family members??? Unbelievable!!!! I told him I had no money and hung up. My wife got suspicious and found this site. These people are getting real savy.

They have been calling saying its my nephew and that he needed a place to stay. I agreed but when he called back saying he ran somebody over and needed bail money I onvedtigatited and its not my nephew. Once I confronted him he said he knows everything about me and that he would come after what I love the most. I am scared but now I see is that all they want is $.

This number called me today with the same phony cousin story.

Received a call today sayn it was Juan handsome hardworking nephew. we already know its a scam. Asked him  which one he Hung up.

We have been receiving extortion calls from this number for since October 14. Same story, relative (not) in transit on vacation and detailed at an airport in Mexico and asking for a western union funds transfer. Skillfully tries to obtain personal information about family, etc.  Don?t give out names.  They pretended to put an attorney representing them on the phone.  Again, to obtain personal information.  Calls are continuing.

My mother got a call from this number, and they identified themselves as airport officials. According to them my cousin was in custody for a large amount of money in his luggage. Long story short, they wanted us to wire them money so that my cousin could pay the taxes due to the amount of money he did not declare. All false, my cousin is not in Mexico, and is not in custody!!! It's a scam and the scary part is they have my family information here in Canada and back home!!!

I have received a call from this number not polite but very sospicious asking me to pick him up in the airport. I confused him with person with the very similar voice. It was my error.

Yes, they just called my mom saying he was a cousin and that he would be in Canada tomorrow.  It just happened to be that my mom spoke to one of my aunts today asking for the name of one of her boys.  So when this con man called her saying auntie auntie auntie guess who it is he had her going for a bit....but then things started not to  make sense and when my mom started asking questions he hung up.

This is about $$ and they pretend they are in some sort of jam and they ask you to wire them money to help them out of it and that they will pay you back.  Bull--once they get your money you do not hear from them again.

So be very weary about these type of calls..they try to get you to give information and they use it to pretend they are family.

Never ever wire $ unless you are absolutley sure that they are relatives.  And never call a number they have given you as it could be a friend posing as a customs office, hospital person or what ever.

Take care and do not let these con artists get your hard earned money while they sit on their a***s tricking people

Same thing, a call to my house from a cousin to visit for a few days the night before...  then the following morning the call about customs in Mexico, the $25,000... when I asked a question for proof of who he was, the line went dead... Tengan mucho cuidado y no den informacion de mas... Saludos.

Lamaron diciendo que es un sobrino que esta en Guadalajara,Jalisco,Mexico, esta detenido en el aeropuerto por que tenia 25.000 U.S si no queria perder todo este dinero tenia que depositar un cantidad de 2.850U.S.como impuesto a esta cantidad de dolares, mi sobrino  me pidio que le ayudara a recuperar estos dolares, me hiso hablar con el liceisiado Jose Baraja Cisneros, el me  explico que solamente tenia que remitirles este dinero por medio de Western Union ;me dijo que solamente tenia dos horas para hacer este tramite, lo unico que querian es que les de el numero de la transacion, y que luego que fuera  comprovado el numero de la transacion enseguida le devolvian el dinero; me dieron la direccion que les envie Av. Lopez Mateus #1489. ; me llamaron despues de dos horas para pedirme el numero de la transacion, les dije que yo no tenia ningun sobrino, y corto la comunicasion.

Someone called me 2 days telling me that he was my nephew ?????? NOT, and that he was coming to my country  travelling through Guadalajara, Mexico and once he was there,,,,,,, supposedly he was going to call me with the flight number and time of arrival for me to go pick him up......once.... at supposedly Guadalajara he called again wanting me to tell customs that he was travelling with 25,000 because he was going to spend holiday with me and my family ......told him sorry I do not know who you are...he got upset and hung up on me.......thank you

I got a call from this number saying that this man was my nephew. I don't know what they want but I think we have to very careful with this

There have been reports of this on other numbers. They say they are family members in trouble and try to get money out of you!! Be careful!!

I got a call from this person as well trying to pass as cousins... be carefull, I really do not know what is the motive!!

i got a call today from this ph# saying he was from my family and to get him at the airport saying he was comming from vacation. he was very impolite.

this person also called 2 of my family members saying they were family
