This guy called me on friday sept 19 and said he was my cousin and he was going to visit me the next day  and on his way he got in to an accident and he needed money to fix his car to get to my house it was just a sack I sent him $ 300 thinking he was my cousin but he just stole my money can you please help me recover it

my received a call from this number where a man called and said he was their nephew. He called them several times telling them that he had got into a car accident and needed money, because he had no insurance. My mother started to ask the gentleman question he could not answer, and so she hung up on him......please be careful

My father received a phone call indicating the caller was his cousin. He told him that he would be in town the next day with his whole family to visit. The next day he called saying he was just leaving LA and two hours later he called back saying he needed money sent to him because he had crashed in Las Vegas. That's when we tired calling family and found out he was near Las Vegas his cousin was safe at home. This man called back trying to find out when we would send him the money, we let him know we knew he wasn't family and that we were going to report him to the police, he then hanged up fast.

They also called me saying "Hello Auntie" in Spanish...."don't you recognize me this is your nephew"...I then told him I had no nephews old enough to be calling me and he kept insisting he was my nephew.  I finally asked his name and of course I got the "don't you recognize my voice?"

I finally said, I have no nephews and he hung up.  I'm sure if I had given him a name (my nephew's) he would have said that it was him.  Be careful, they are very good at getting you to give them information that they can use (names, relations, etc.).  DO NOT give them anything....especially money!

This is a Scam. Do not give them money!! My wife almost fell for it. They called her by impersonating a family member from Texas. She almost went to the Airport. Do not fall for this. Its all BS!!

My brother received a telephone call that a cousin was detained by US Customs when entering the country due to unreported cash.  He claimed he needed to pay a fine and as soon as he was released and received his money he would pay back everything including interest on the money.
Amazingly enough a us customs agent got on the line, to confirmed the allegation, when that didn't work, he then threaten to place my cousin into custody in federal prison.  He then said, that it would be best to speak with my cousin's attorney, for further information.
The attorney got on the line with the same story, but now not only he was asking for fine fees, he needed a substantial retainer fee to take the case.
As soon as, my brother began proving this individuals, the call was disconnected.
Be careful and never release information about any of your family members, or personal information.
Contact the local authorities and report the caller.

I  have received a call from this number say that he was my husband brother and we called to see if it was him and it turned out it wasnt. This guy said he was coming from mexicali and if i wanted something from there and i said no then he said that he was going to bring gifts for everyone. What i did was call the cope and made a report on the call i got. the same person called my husband and said he had a flat tire and wanted money. when you get a call like this just call the copes and make a report and be careful because they can tap your phone and listen to what you are saying. people like this need to be in jail.
