This person called my monther in law here in Mexico and claimed to be her nephew that was coming to visit from the states.  He allegedly got caught at the airport with 30,000.00 dlls in cash and needed bail money to get released from the airport.  He said that he had won the lottery and that that's why he was carrying so much.  He asked me if i would send him some money and that as soon as he got here he would pay me 1,000.00 dlls in cash.  I immediately thought that this was a scam.  My husband contacted the the real cousin and he said he was in chicago working. It is so sad how people can be so malishous!

8-5-12 Recibi una llamada de un hombre segun tenia mi sobrino, que habia tenido un accidente en Monterrey y que necesitaba $300 para darle a la persona con la que choco. Me dijeron que mandara el dinero a una tal "Georgina Alejandra Marquez Flores" en San Juan Tonala, Jalisco y mande el dinero por Moneygram y recogieron el dinero y me siguieron llamando para mandarles mas. Cuano me comunique con mi tia en mexico me dijo que su hijo esta alli fue cuando me di cuenta que era mentira y que me habian estafado. Hable a Moneygram y puse la queja de que me habian estafado. Llamen al la compania que mandaron el dinero para que  blocken a la persona recibiendo el dinero y ya no podra esa persona recibir dinero mandado por Moneygram o western union, pero tienen que llamar a la compania que utilisen para que sepan que han sido estafados. Antes de mandar dinero asegurense que el familiar que segun necesita dinero realmente lo necesita, hablen con su familia antes de mandar dinero porque al mandar el dinero la policia no puede hacer nada para ayudarte, no se dejen estafar!! A mi ya me paso, pero no me vuelve a pasar otra vez. Mucho cuidado con estos perros estafadores!!

We received a call from this number and this guy pretended to be a nephew coming with Jewelry.  We asked question about relatives and of course he had no idea.  It sounded like a scam and as soon as we told him that he is not who he said to be, he hung up.  This number should be blocked in making calls.

We received several calls yesterday and today from the above number and from 331-214-1787. The man spoke Spanish and asked for my husband and knew of my husband's family and kept calling him Tio. The caller would make a statement and my husband didn't remember the man or could validate his story. He claimed he was traveling near us and wanted to come for a visit.  He used my husband's legal/proper name instead of what the family calls him.  He spoke to his mom and she said that particular family member was seen in Mexico a few days ago with a newborn and had no intentions of travel to the states. So this caller was a fraud!  But, he knew that Tulsa was near us and he knew how to agree and play my husband on the phone. He asked for money too. FRAUD!! SCARY!

I just recieved a call from my so called cousin, but he would never tell me his name, and he asked for my mothers number and my silly self gave it to him, but thank God neither me or my mom gave him any information.

we got a call saturday morning .
and they were saying they were our cousin coming to town from another state.
but everything they were saying didn't really make sence so we got a hold of our family member they were claming to be and he told us that he was at home!
so we never answered there call again. and they havent callled sence..
but the crazy thing is is that they never all our names !
stupid people !

This number call today about 2 said he was my husbands cousin in California and that my husband dont remember him his name is Jr. and he wanted to talk to my husband and I kept asking his name finally told me jr was his name and he called my husband and asked what cousin he remembers and my husband he sounds like a mexican sorry dont got no mexican cousin in california and hung up..

So this guy stole $850 from my dad. According to my parents he WAS my cousin Carlos. So same story, had crashed a car, didn't have insurance, needed to pay damages upfront to this guy from Monterrey, Mexico. My parents believed the story, asked all our family to come together and pitch in what we could and sent the money. Unbelievable! My poor dad is now stuck with this bill. Hope karma pays this guy back very soon...

This person called my mother yesterday tryin to scam her as well! So upsetting knowing there are people like that in the world! Said he was her nephew and that he would be on his way to CT and visit. Then claimed to have a car accident and needed $800 for the damage. He even asked I my mom has jewelry she could pawn to help him out. What an A* hole!

So I get this call from this number and he was saying that he was my cousin, but since I don't talk to my dad side of the family a lot I thought it was true, at first he was saying that he was in Mexico and that if we needed anything from there because you know a lot if things are cheaper in Mexico and he was looking for my dad but since my dad wasn't home he called like 5 times and didn't picked up, so this morning he called around 8 and was asking for my dad one more time, well since my dad wasn't home he hung up and called around 10:52 am since he didn't get a hold of him he said that he needed to talk to me and I was busy and I said no, well he said that he was still in Mexico and that he got into a car accident and he hit this guy that was in a motorcycle and this guy didn't care about calling the police because he wasn't from the area so he just wanted money and my "cousin" said that he didn't had enough money that he had to go to the bank and get it but the guy that was  supposedly hit didn't wanna let him go get the money that if I could talk to him, and well I told  to him that he didn't believe in him why would he believe me? He was like well talk to him and then he said or do you have $200 or $300 dollars that I can borrow so you can help me out, and I said that I didn't have 3 dollars do he just said "Ok" then hung up he didn't said bye or anything like that...he tried to scam me!!! Stupid guy!!!

I recd a call from this number. The caller was asking for money to damages he had caused with his vehicle.He claim he was a relative from Mexico.I asked for his particulars and asked him to call me back in 5 minutes.When called back I told him that I had verified the information and that the info he gave was incorrect.He hung up.I wish there was a way to report this type of behavior to proper authorities.Any suggestions.

my family received a call from this number and the person said he was an uncle in Mexico that needed money because he had been in a car accident. He was asking for $800 to cover for the damage done on the vehicle. I immediately contacted our real uncles family were they stated that he was at work. Good thing we caught this fraud before anyone sent the money.
