A mi suegra le llamaron diciendo lo mismo; que hablaba su sobrino tratando de hacerla sentir mal si no lo reconocía, por lo que dijo un nombre y le dijeron que ese exactamente. Trataron de que les diera su celular, pero no se los dió y colgó. Le han seguido marcando de ese teléfono muchas veces, pero no ha contestado.

Someone called our house phone just a few minutes ago claiming to be one of my cousins living in the US. They were looking for my mom and knew both her first and last name. They said they were relatives on her side of the family, but wanted me to guess their name trying to make me feel bad that I had forgotten my "cousin." I was about to give them her cell phone number but found it suspicious because 1) my cousins wouldn't play this guessing game for as long as this guy did 2) he spoke with a Mexican accent, and my family isn't from Mexico 3) my cousins refer to my mom by a different name, not the one they used. They finally gave me a name and I do have a family member by that name, but I started speaking in English asking why he didn't tell me who he was at first. They completely didn't understand what I was saying and hung up. So annoying and scary. This is why I don't answer the house phone.
