Just got a call from 331-926-4015 saying he was my cousin visiting Texas and he got in to a accident
And he needed money asking me to wire him some more. I got suspicious and called my family in Puerto Rico and found out my cousin was not in Texas. After googling the number found this web site and saw it was a scam!! Glad I didn't wire any money! Then after about a hour this same guy calls back from 331-146-5965 telling me that he really needed my help! After I told him to find himself another sucker, he cursed me out in Spanish!! Be aware of this loser! Hope they catch this creep!
A young man called saying he is my nephew, speaking Spanish . Would not give me name made me give names of brothers and sisters. When I said one that lived in California, he said yes I am in Chicago. Gave phone to my husband, he then gave him a different name. So my husband hung up on him. Think he was wanting money.
I received 2 calls person claimed to be my nephew. Said he was my husbands sister's son from California but was visiting in Illinois. Problem was he told his name and gave my husband a different name. Not sure what caller wanted but don't give any information to this caller.
And the next call will be something magically happening and they need money! This is a type of "grandparent scam" only insert the relative here instead..

My mom got a call from this number saying they were her brother's son. I looked up the number and found this website. I told my mom it was a scam. She also said they were gonna come visit tomorrow.
I received a phone call today with the same story as the majority of the people. He seems to like the name Juan. Once I got aggressive they hung up. If you see a phone number you do not recognize DO NOT ANSWER! If it is important they will leave a message.
I keep getting calls from these MFRs, claiming they are my nephew. They tried to get personal information from you, to use it for their benefit and scam you somehow. When I started playing along with them they caught on quick and hung up. Beware of what you say. They spoke Spanish but obviously this is a big scam.
They called my grandparents saying they were our relatives from Mexico. They said they were in a car accident and needed money. When we told them we were on the line with my uncle they hung up very fast. When you call the number back it says error message.
Do not answer them.. they are really mean and act ugly
Somebody please help catch these individuals before they make someone get a heart attack.they are dangerous.also telling people that their family member got badly injured in automobile accident and that they need money.imagine if they say that to an elderly with heart problems. There has to be a way to catch them. Please help.
Warning do not fall for this mfr. He said that he was my nephew and kept calling uncle. That was already suspicious for I don't have nephews that old.he said that he wanted to come visit but I told him that I don't even know who you are ,he paused and hung up. Spanish speaking....BE CARFUL FOR THESE MONEY HUNGRY MFRS.
I received a call on my house phone from a guy saying he was my nephew. I didn't recognize the voice so I kep asking who they were. They couldn't give me an answer. Finally they said they were my nephew 'Juan.' Since I did not recognize the name I said I still didn't know who they were. They tried to make me feel bad for not remembering them. The guy said he was sick too. The he said I was the aunt from such and such family. I lied and said no I wasn't and they hung up on me.
Stop the Scammers
They called us saying they were my dad's uncle and aunt and saying they were in a car crash. They asked for money (speaking in spanish). It sounded suspicious so we called the daughter of our dad's uncle and aunt and they said they were in Mexico. So in the end we did not fall for the scam and we did actually get the names of the people who did it. His name is Jose Roberto Gutierrez Carranza. People beware of this person.Do not fall for there scams
saying there family and if we didn't recognize their voice but when asked for a name they failed to reply and eventually i hung up, don't fall for these scams.
