I just came back from Mexico and I got the call from a "cousin" ... I would like to know from where they get our information like phone number and last names.
Where I gave that info? thrifty car rental, interjet and aeromexico.

This just happened to my mom. She got real worried, cause this could have been a real family emergency. Who are these a-s-s-h-o-l-e-s who do this to people? And my mom is sick and can't take this s-h-i-t on her nerves! Their number was 333--589-248-6748. Thank God that there are people of good will on the internet that let others know what is going on! God bless every one of you who has posted about this scam! Restores my faith in humanity! Everyone keep the faith and keep up the good work!

6/12/11 somebody contact me on this date claming he was my nephew telling me that he was going to fly to chicago tomorow and he was going to let me know when he will arrive to come and visit me. He spoke perfect spanish I was searching and the area code is from mazatlan, Mexico so be aware of this guy and kick him out of your phone Don't give him any personal information.

Same call was made on Feb. 14 2011. With this technology and not one can know where this (rata is from. The call was made in spanish. Rata!!! de tres patas, queso fresco!!! come and get it!!!

Contact was made FEB, 13 2011. Claimed to be related to family continued to say that he will be in the US and fly to our town. I replied with an ok you let us know when you arrive, A SCAM! Another contact was made on FEB 14 2011Saying that there was an issue with the arrival now needs money to arrive and needs help, he could not answer my questions properly just said that he was related and went by a last name that is very common. THIS IS WHERE THE SCAM KICKS IN. I ordered him to stay put, that i was going to have him picked up. HE HUNG UP!........PLEASE BE ADVISE THAT THIS IS A SCAM...SADLY PEOPLE DO THIS THING...

I got a call saying they were my nephew, but didn't wanted to let me know who, so I started to give names and they were just phishing. If you happen to answer to this call, give them vague names and wrong info. If they are legit, they'll tell you. If not, they'll either hang up or trip their tongue.
