I HAVE BEEN GETTING CALLS AND MESSEGES FROM THIS GUY NAMED JEREMY SMITZ HIS NUMBER IS 334-539-1574 AND HE TOLD ME HE IS AN ATTORNEY HE SPOKE WITH A HEAVY INDIAN ACCENT AND TOLD ME I WOULD BE GOING TO JAIL THSST I OWED A LOAN COMPANY 7,995 AND I   HAD TO BE PAID TODAY AND THEN I GET ANOTHER CALL FROM AN EMERGENCY NUMBER SAYING SHE WAS A POLICE OFFICER IN MY COUNTY AND I HAVE TO BE IN COURT TODAY AT 11AM TO FACE A JUDGE FOR ELECTRONIC CHECK FRAUD HE TOLD ME I WILL BE SPENDING TIME IN PRISON NOW WHAT SHOULD I DO SINCE I GOT A CALL FROM THE POLICE.

These guys called and said that I owed them $656.39 and that I would be arrested at 11am in the morning because I owed their client this money and did not pay it.  I asked who their client was and they siad it was US Cash and when I said I didn't know who that was the foreign fella said they have 1500 different companies under that name.  What a nightmare and the fact that they have my work number and other information is very upsetting.  Any informaiton to help get these guys stopped would be great!!!

I got a call from 334-539-1574. They state they are Anderson Law Firm and they are sueing me in a law suit. They called my job and told my job that I would be arrested.This is the 2nd call from the same people at another number.They need to get a job.

My bank account was hacked shortly before I started getting these phone calls???

These people called me today saying that I owed them 1480 dollars on a loan that I never took out! Saying I was going to jail tomorrow for 60 days if I Didn't pay the whole amount how can they get away with this????

These guys have called me multiple times today threatening my arrest. When I requested documentation of my subpoena they hung up on me multiple times. I'm going to report them to the better business bureau and the local district attorneys office. The problem is they have all of my personal info including San and bank info. Don't let these guys fool you! Change all of your info!

Tell him your phone is being trapped, say "Trap, Operator this is the number", give time and date, maybe this will help.
Also I called back and told him the phone was being trapped and not to call back.

These guys are calling from a Carrier known as Vodafone. Going by the area code of the various numbers they use, it seems they are calling from Tamil Nadu, India. This is a state within india but as to which specific city within Tamil Nadu, i have no idea. I am not from india nor have i ever been but its amazing what technology can do. I told one of the reps "Where in Tamil Nadu are you located?" LOL he hung up and i haven't heard from them since.

I got the same call and it showed up on my caller ID as coming from Auburn University,AL.  He threatened to have me arrest and has my SS# , birthdate,and address.  I just told him I know this is a scam and to find someone else to try and get money out of them cause he wasn't getting it from me.  He identified himself as Mark Johnson from Anderson Law Firm.

Got same calls, except he did have my info. Anybody have ID theft  problems after one of these episodes? I did get ATT to locate the number in AL and it is a landline phone. I could not understand him well enough to make out the name of the supposed company he was representing.

This guy Kevin called and is demanding money and is saying they are going to call the cops. This is a bogus call.

I recently applied online for a payday loan, now I am receiving calls on line saying if I do not pay $500 I will be arrested by the local sheriffs and that I am being sued.  I was not served I know this is a scam to get money.

I got a call from"mark johnson" 334-539-1574 saying I was going to jail the next day blah, blah, blah, I told him I was going to call the Sheriff and report his calls and he told me to go ahead that he dared me to do it. Very broken English speaking dude to be a mark johnson... I think I will call him in the middle of the night multiple times. Glad I read all the posts on here.

I got a call from these idiots telling me I was going to be picked up for check fraud and all these nonsense, I told them why are you calling to tell me that just come get me. I barked like a dog and grunted like a pig and they had no choice but to hang up and when i called back a woman answered I told her that they need to stop harassing hard working people and go get a job themselves, she hung up on me and when i tried to call back again the phone had a busy tone. They are nothing but scam artist and no one should pay them any kind of money.

I just got a cal from this moron a few minutes ago & he told me that I had not paid back a loan & to be prepared to go to jail. Yeah sure lol. He hung up before I got a chance to tell him what he could go do with himself. I filed complaints about these scam artists with the FTC & my state's attorney general two days ago. He's most likely mad because I closed my checking account earlier today & put a fraud alert on my SSN. Scammers need to die. Slowly & painfully.

Total jack a***s. I get at least 10 calls a day from these people at all hours. Such horrible English it's sad. They called me bi****s, because they laughed when they told me they had a case against my social.. If your having a bad day pick up the phone and entertain these f****ards :-)

I got a call from this number.  A male voice said my name and said I had to call immediately or have my attorney call. He also said if I did not call he can only wish me good luck.  The caller ID said it is from Auburn Alabama.  Not sure what this is about

I got a call from this idiot today

They called me at work and cell when I told them I wasn't going to pay because they were a scam he started yelling and saying he was going to have me arrested in 3 hours. I don't know of any collection agency that would do that. Don't let them get your money.
