Andrew Higgins is a f**got and a liar!  Probably suffers from small p***s syndrome.

So here is the information on the company calling you and a telephone number for the owner's cellphone. Feel free to give him a call and a piece of your mind... Maximum Security Alarm / Sacramento / Andrew Higgins. Maximum Security Alarm, based out of Sacramento, California (1010 Hurley Way, Suite 525, Sacramento, CA 95825). Owned and ran by Andrew Higgins, his [removed:lang] brother David Higgins and their  [removed:lang] father Dennis Higgins. Is just one of many scams this Higgins family and their friends have been doing for a long time, at least 8 years for this company. The awful things they do on a regular basis are just way too much for me to mention and invest any additional time into. They have the most complaints for any alarm company and probably any company for that matter and they wouldn't have this many complaints, especially back to back to complaints unless it were all true. Save yourself a hassle and don't do business or interact with these people on any level. You can reach the owner Andy Higgins on his cellphone @ 916-223-6311. He will tell you that his company in no way calls people on the Do Not Call Registry. I believe that's a lie because if you google Maximum Security Alarms and look at a few of the RipOff Reports and such, you will see action has been taken against them for doing just that. The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the government's allegations, which have not yet been proven.

On February 5, 2013, the State of Missouri filed a petition for preliminary and permanent injunctions, restitution, civil penalties and other court orders against Maximum Security Alarm. The petition alleges, in part, that Maximum Security Alarm engaged in a pattern of outbound telephone calls violating Missouri's No-Call List Laws by contacting telephone lines placed on Missouri's Telemarketing No-Call List in an attempt to solicit customers for home security systems. The petition also alleges that Maximum Security Alarm caused the telephone to ring repeatedly in an annoying, abusive or harassing manner by soliciting consumers after they had made known they did not wish to receive calls and utilized methods to circumvent caller identification services. The petitions seeks to enjoin Maximum Security Alarm from making telephone solicitations to those who have placed themselves on Missouri's No-Call List, require MSA to pay $5,000 per violation of the No-Call List Laws, pay the state for all investigative and prosecution costs, and to pay the State of Missouri an amount equal to 10 percent of the total restitution ordered against Defendant. Andrew Higgins has been playing this scam for years.  Google his name and Maximum Security and you will see he's been denying the continued calling for at least the past 4 years.  He is in my opinion a LIAR and now that people have his number (literally) he whines like a baby...complains people are threatening him, his family and his business.  Old saying Andypoo....If you can't stand the heat get out of the fire.  You bring this upon yourself by skirting the laws and bothering people.

Andy's cell number is 916-223-6311.  He will deny his company calls anyone but I believe he lies like a rug.  I intend to call this number 10 times for every call I get from his crappy alarm company.

Also if you google his name, you'll find he's been sued at least 4 times by HP and others for not paying bills....low life scum of the earth.

Yes this is your company....when I responded to the initial info request, someone from YOUR company called back and identified themselves as working for Maximum Security.   I call and requested to be removed from your call list.

I received 5 calls from 603-214-3653 in the past 5 days. Just got another call back from 334-581-1112. The FCC has a complaint website were you can file complaints against these companies and the numbers calling for them. Just filed mine so hopefully I will stop getting calls

I just got a recorded call from these guys too.

I called their main number and asked to be put on their do not call list.  I also filed a complaint with the donotcall.gov website.

Got a call yesterday from this number from a David Probasco(sp?) yesterday representing Maximum Security Alarm Inc. (http://mymaximumsecurityalarm.com/). How scrupulous are these guys ? Well, they are now having offshore companies make the 1st screening call and then they have their direct rep call you. I first received a call from a NH # 603-214-3653 from someone with a thick accent. I assume this is to somehow circumvent the FTC regulations.

I've filed complaints with both the FTC and the CA BBB.

If you call my office and request to be put on the DNC we will be happy to assist you and to not call you internally. But I can not stop you getting calls from this number. What you need to do is call the phone company and have the phone company tell you who owns this phone number, and contact them. My company only has the ability to call people from (916) area code telephone numbers. We do not have the ability to call from any other lines. we also do not run nor do we have the ability to run any automated or pre-recorded.

This is a scam company "Maximum security". They use robo callers and will continuously call you about a stupid alarm system.

Two phone calls from this phone number to my cell phone (Verizon) after hanging up on 918-442-0710.

I have been getting calls for weeks and weeks; when I answer its a pre-recorded message that tells me someone will call me back. Today they did and when I answered he asked if I was the owner of my place and I said I actually wanted to be removed from their calling list and he hung up on me.

I just called the 916-564-6900 number listed above.  I tried contacting their customer service and their HR deparments (by listening to the menu options) and was told to leave a message.  I called back a third time as they had a 'if you know your party's extension, dial it at anytime' so I randomly hit 501 and was immediately connected to someone who answer 'this is emilio'.  I asked emilio what I needed to do to be removed from thier solicitations list and he put me on hold, came back and said his manager would see that my number was removed. He said it can take 24 hours.

So now I have Emilio's direct line and have no idea who he is but will continue to harrass him if I continue to receive the 3-4 daily calls I have been getting.

Everyday I am receiving 5 to 6 calls from this number and I do not answer it. Have told them before to stop calling.  Would like them blocked

I am on the do not call list and have been for a long time !!!  alot of good that does!!!  again another case of our gov. hard at work not doing their job!!!!!!!        ALSO I NEVER ANSWER CALLS FROM PEOPLE I DONT KNOW EVER!!!!!!!!

I got a call from this guy today on my cell phone. I asked him to stop calling me - he responded "what do you mean stop calling you, I've never called you before". I then said "I need you to take me off your list" he then said "I can't help you" then I hung up.   I've gotten calls from security companies before on my cell. every time I get a call from a number like that I create a new contact in my phone so when they try and call again  it just pops up with the name "do not answer - scam".

Just logged a complaint at donotcall.gov and listed this site in comments.  I suggest others do the same.

These guys are real jerks!!!  They keep calling my cell number asking me if I want a FREE security system . . . Right . . . I not that stupid to fall for that one.  I've repeatedly asked them to not call me because I am NOT interested in what they are offering AND they are WASTING my time & cell minutes.  Someone should shut these guys down from making REPEATED, UNWANTED, RUDE calls.  They have hung up on me several times when I confronted them . . . and gotten very rude.

Just finished on the phone with Ken from Maximum Security and mentioned that I'd seen the complaints about his company (via this site) and he had the nerve to get irate.  

'What complaints...?' 'Ohh.. that you call people up multiple times and don't leave messages... ' '..then how are we on the phone?' 'You called again.' This poor guy. Doesn't he know that each time he calls, it's registered on my phone bill?  My phone gives a call history of his unanswered calls.

He got more irate, so I just laughed it off, noted that I was on the Do Not Call registry and that I would be registering a complaint. As I was ending his call, his comment sounded as though he didn't mind my doing so.

I'll be contacting the BBB as well.  How do ya like them apples, Ken?

Got a call from this same number/security company on my cell phone which is listed on the DO NOT CALL list.  Don't know how they got my number, but when I tried to tell them to take me off of their list, they hung up on me before I was finished speaking.

Anyone who has a home or cell phone number for Andrew Higgins, David Higgins, Dennis Higgins, or Sebastian Travis of Maximum Security (they are the proprietors of that operation) should post those numbers here so we can start wasting their time, preferably when we are drunk and frustrated from being kicked out of a bar that's closing at 2 A.M.

It might be more productive though to sue them for your $500 in small claims court.

Got a solicitation call today from this number, which appears to be a security company. Annoying sales calls on my cell phone!  I don't know how they got my number but it's a waste of my minutes. This isn't a way for companies to get our business, by inconveniencing and disturbing us!

It is the second day in a row I received a call from this number.  The first time a man called stating he was calling from some security company and I told him I didn't have time to talk to him and terminated the call.  Today I didn't answer. October 2010 I had a similar series of unsolicited calls from a man supposedly representing GE Security & Protect America.
