You will only get a message if you speak as a "hello". Do not speak just hold the phone and they hand up without a message. Obviously its a voice activated call.

If you are expecting the DNC to block scammers and all your unwanted calls.....yes it is a waste.

Comes up "Name Unknown" and this is my area code but not a valid exchange. Scammers have moved to my local area. Goody. Yet another number to block. The DNC is a joke and waste. The solution is subscribe to caller ID and screen.

My home # and Cell # are registered with the "Do Not Call" registry. I receive 2 or 3 calls from 336-196-4852 every few days, mostly on Saturdays, which I do not answer. They never leave a message. Does anyone know what this number is. A reverse search on Whitepages.com shows no results found.
