I have gone online to my phone carrier and blocked several numbers that keep calling.

Called at 8:27 AM!  Pretty early but caller ID also said CFOA which Googled is the cancer society.  I hate those auto calls that don't hang up in time and answer machine goes to dial tone.

Attempted to disconnect when they reached the requested person.   Advised that they are on a fund raising campaign.   Advised them that I was reporting harassing calls to a place of business to FTC

I don't answer any call I cant identity.  It's a shame we pay for a modern necessity that has become such an annoyance.

The only way you will see an end to these illegal calls is to take notes and complain to the State Attorney General's office. Ask the AG to do something about the incessant calls.  If the AG receives enough complaints, they will pursue the perpetrators.

Got a call at 9:31am.  Caller was very nice, but asked for my deceased father in law (2008).  We never get calls for him.  Caller was polite and apologized.

these call are just scams, blocking or reporting the number doesnt help because they just change the number and keep calling.
Dont answer these calls, and dont call them back. when you answer, or call back, or talk to someone, or press 9 to be added to their do not call list - that just lets them know that your number is a working number. then they flag it is as a working number. therefore you will get repeated calls from them and all their scam buddies. because it is an illegal operation and they change numbers and stories often (free alarm system scam, credit card interest rate lowering scam, we will pray with you scam, donation scam, free cruise scam, problem with you accont scam, ect) they DO NOT CARE about the do not call list. they call as many people as the can, changing the story on occasion just to scam an unsuspecting person out of money. the more people they call, the more chances they have of stealing from us.
every number called by the robo callers that dead end gets tossed out, and the ones flagged as working(casue you called back or answered) get stored, passed around illegally, and worst of all - called repeatedly.
BEST ADVICE - NEVER MAKE ANY MONETARY TRANSACTION  OVER THE PHONE, EVER. ESPECIALLY IF THEY CALLED YOU. and dont ever give out personal or financial info over the phone, especially if they called you. SIMPLY, IF THEY CALLED YOU - YOU REALLY DONT KNOW WHO YOU ARE TALKING TO.

if everyone STOPS making monetay transaction over the phone - this will stop. if they never make any money this way, it will stop because it will never pay off.
Even if a charity calls, and you are interested, DONT GIVE MONEY OVER THE PHONE. have them mail you donation paperwork and verify its valid. if they refuse to do this it is most likely a SCAM.

NO MONEY OVER THE PHONE - MEANS NO MORE CALLS (YEAH) from these scam, telemarketer, timeshare, ect scumbags.

Left no message received when out.

Received a call from 336-245-4338. Left no message on my answering machine.I called the number and a computerized voice stated that it was the Cancer Fund Of America and that they were calling for a fund raising drive. Then another computerized voice got on the l9ine and said that if I wanted to be put on the do not call list, I should press the #1, which I did and then was told that it would takle 30 before the "do not call" would be implemented.

Just called at 11:50 a.m. Caller ID says "CFOA". They hung up when answering machine picked up.

caller id said "CFOA", never heard of them...

Just got a call at 8:26 AM.  I thought they would at least wait till 9 0'clock.  I hate this one because it does not hang up till answer machine starts recording and you get that awful loud dial  noise.

Got a call today, no one there...im blocking  these clowns right now!

Caller represented they support the American Cancer Society Relay For Life which is a misrepresentation.

Got a call from that number, called it back and got an recorded answer.

I've asked this number to stop calling me numerous times. but they continue to call!  I am fed up!

Very frustrated concerning getting these calls every time we turn around. They could at least, say where they are calling from....UNKNOWN numbers, etc.. "IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!"  It is arrassment! Thank you for stopping these calls.
