I got a call on my cell phone with the 336-332-7853 number with ups as the caller. First thing is my cell phone number is one number I do-not hand out . It has to be someone I know. I have not ordered anything to be delivered in first place . This appears to be a scam of sorts.

Phone rang, I was outside. Got to the phone too late, and the caller left no message. The Caller ID read "UPS 336 332-7569. I called back several times and got 'you have reached a non-working number at the UPS high-point call center...." whatever that means! You'd think that UPS could either leave a message (even automated) or that they could at least give you number where you could call back to find out the nature of the message they left!! Very frustrating! Has anybody found a number to get through to the source yet?

I received a call from this number. It came from UPS Claim Department. It is not a valid number to call. If you want to reach UPS Claim department about your claim, call 800-833-9947.

I got a call from this number too. I got suspicious afterwards. So this is a legit UPS number?

I got a call from a "business" looking for a package they sent to our old address, supposedly by mistake but then this number called after claiming they were from UPS and wanting to know if we live at that address still, which we do not. It seems kind of strange that they accidentally shipped me a package in the middle of a subdivision with no "main" or "business" street names in it but I haven't lived there for months so they can just foget whatever they are trying to pull I guess, or deal with it themselves.LAME

It's got to be UPS.  My inlaws said they sent a package via UPS several days ago and we should have received by now, but hadn't.  I didn't answer this call because of the unidentified caller ID. Perhaps they were calling to verify when we would be home.

I got two calls from this number, and when i return the phone calls, i got a message saying you have reached UPS non-working number.

UPS claims.  They call me when I have a damaged shipment.

This number came up on my parents Caller ID.  My mother actually spoke with the person, who said that they wanted to know what time I would be home so that they could deliver a package.  However, my parents phone number was not associated with any package shipment that I may have been receiving (and I do not live with them)--also, I was not expecting a package at that time. I don't know how they got my parents phone number.

I received a call today from 336-332-7569.  They told me they were UPS, and that a shipment had been damaged.  They said they could send the tracking information to be via email, I asked if I could call them back.  They gave me the 800-506-1308 phone number.  

They provided me with a tracking number, which started with "hp78".  I looked it up and it was an actual package on their website.  They told me a glass table had been broken, and that it was a shipment from me.  I told them I didn't ship a glass table (which I didn't), and they said their must have been an error, and that they would take care of it.  

I called UPS to report this, but they weren't interested in the information I had.

Rec'd call from 336-332-7569.  Called #, and I got the same "non-working number at UPS" as above.  However, a message was left for me and it was UPS advising me that the claim for an item that was damaged during shipment was approved.  Therefore, I'm going to confirm that this is a UPS number and no crooks, scammers, telemarketers or whatever.

Call also at 5:38 am California time, 9:38 EST.  Must be some auto dial.  Left no msg also.

Call came in at 5:45am - California time. No message left. When dialing this number, receive message that it is a "non-working number at the UPS High Point call center." 5:45am????
